New Beginnings

Were here finally!! Says my best friend Lilith. Were freshman in college. My name is Arabella, and I'm from Haven, Maine. It's a small town. Not much happens there but the occasional robbery or assault. Except for most recently. We had serial killer incident. My parents sent me to my aunts house the entire time, but Lily filled me in on everything. Lily is really into criminal law that's her major here at the University of New Haven. I'm studying literature, specifically poetry. I love poetry, I always have. My mom used to read me poetry every night before I went to sleep as a child. "Come on goof" says lily, "were gonna be late for orientation". "OK" I said, as she shoved me into the group of freshman's being led around the university. Amber a senior in college showed us around the university. Lily and I kept cracking jokes about Amber, Obviously because we felt threatened by her beauty. Lily doesn't like when girls look at her the wrong way which and Amber was. I'm really insecure. I always feel as if what I'm wearing is showing my chubbiness, but Lily assures me that it's not. As we are being showed to our dorm rooms by our guide Amber, she tells us that school won't be starting for about 3 days due to classrooms not being ready or something like that. So we have three entire days to explore this place says Lily. We find our dorm rooms,and we have one together. As we are unpacking our things there is a knock on the door, "come in" I say. It's another girl. She says "oh hello" "I guess that were roomies" "my name is Abigail but you can calle Abby". We continue introducing ourselves. Then we all decide on what we should do tonight. Lily expresses that she wants to DANCE!!!! Then Abby says that there is a fraternity party tonight and she could totally " hook us up" I agreed and we got dressed and left.
