Knock... Knock... Knock...

A knock sounded on the door causing the young man to curled up in the blanket move a little.

"Koh, it's already 8 o'clock. Aren't you going to school?" A voice called from outside the door which the young man recognised to be his mother's voice causing Koh to frown at a little before slowly opening his eyes.

"son, wake up already" his mother's voice rang out again.

"Yes, mother, I woke up," Koh shouted back before getting up and stretching his arms back and forth

"Hurry up and take a shower and come down to eat. If you are late then don't complain about it, you are just like your father," his mother continued to say making Koh sit and laugh, giggling in his throat. Because when he thinks of his own mother's face, who is half-breed calling names to Koh's father, who is a Thai-Chinese descent, Koh thinks it doesn't quite match.

But it was something familiar to his family anyway. Koh turned to pick up the clock on the table to look because he thought that his mother might be making it up saying it was 8 o'clock in the morning, but he had to open his eyes wide to make sure he read the time correctly. Because 10 minutes later it would really be 8 o'clock in the morning.

"Damn it," Koh said to himself before hurriedly getting out of bed and running to the bathroom. Koh took a short shower, got dressed and ran down from the third floor of his own house.

It is a three storey half-commercial building. Ko's house is a shop selling noodles, shark fin and bird's nest. The store opens on the first floor, while the second floor is his parents' residence, and the third floor belongs to him and his younger brother.

Koh's family has 3 sons. The eldest is married and has a wife and lives separately to open a branch in Chinatown.

Koh is the middle child and has another younger brother.

"Koh, eat first," Ko's mother called when she saw the young man running down, looking startled.

"It's too late, Mom. I'll go eat in front of the university," Ko replied.

"Next time, you can go to sleep a little early," Koh's father's voice sounded along with lifting items out to prepare the storefront. There are 3 employees in the store and the store opens from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

"Okay, don't complain. I'm going to study first," Having finished speaking, Koh hurriedly ran to his motorcycle.

"Mom! Where did my motorcycle go?" Ko asked his mother immediately when he didn't see find it parked.

"Aw, didn't you let Gap ride to school?" His mother walked over and said.

"I didn't. He lied to your mother, woah, this kid," Ko grumbled angrily.

"Let's take the younger brother's bike to ride instead," the mother said, handing the key to her son. Koh took a deep breath while thinking of cursing his younger brother in his heart. Koh's bike is a Honda ZOOMER-X that his eldest brother bought for him because he was lazy to ride a geared bike so he had chosen an automatic gear to ride. As for Gap, his younger brother has a Honda MSX, but today his younger brother left his own bike for Koh to use.

"Yes," Koh could not help but had to bring his brother's bike to ride instead. He hurriedly drove to the university because he had class at 8:30, but Koh arrived late at the university anyway. After parking the car, he quickly ran up to the classroom.

"Ouch, bastard," Koh cursed as he ran into someone's tough shoulder who had just walked out of the room, right before his classroom.

"Who are you cursing, Koh?" A deep voice rang out causing Koh who was stroking his nose to immediately look at the other side before finding out that he was a tall senior in the faculty and on his basketball team as well. Koh didn't like the face of this guy much. But he doesn't show it.
