Anguish all over his body had begun since Mail woke up while feeling the coolness on his face.
"Ugh," Mail let out a pained groan from his throat before turning away from the cold that touched his face. He still hadn't opened his eyes because he felt very hot flashes with a lot of pain.
"Look, why didn't you tell Mom since last night, Gap?" A familiar fierce voice sounded causing Mail to instantly recognize it as Gap's mother's voice.
"Well, I didn't think he was going to be this sick, Mom," Gap's voice rang out. Mail immediately frowned.
"Mom thinks it's better to wake up Mail and take him to the doctor," Gap's mother's voice said again causing Mail to feel that he shouldn't be lying like this because it will surely cause many people trouble. So he slowly opened his eyes and saw Gap's mother sitting by the bed with a damp towel in her hand. Gap sat on the bed next to Mail.
"He's awake, Mom," Gap said when Mail opened his eyes to look at him and his mother.
"How are you, Mail? Where does it hurt? Do you have a headache? Gap's mother asked worriedly. Mail adjusted his gaze and shook his head.
"It's nothing," Mail said in his hoarse voice. Despite the headache and pain all over his body, he didn't want Gap's mother to worry too much.
"How is this okay? You're so hot Plus you have got more wounds. You're an idiot Gap. Why didn't you drive well? Mom told you to be careful a million times. Do you see this? Mail was even more hurt than you," Gap's mother grumbled causing Mail to look surprised because of the words that Gap's mother said about Gap driving badly and hurting him.
"I didn't mean it, Mom. Who would have thought that Mail would suffer more than me?" Gap told his mother back.
"What?" Mail looked at Gap and asked, surprised at Gap's words
"Nothing," Gap denied, not wanting Mail to ask anything at the moment.
"I know the road was slippery, so why weren't you careful, Gap? What would happen if Mail was severely hurt?" Gap's mother kept complaining. Gap also sat quietly and didn't argue with his mother.
"Can you get up?" Gap turned to
Mail. Mail tried to prop himself
up to sit but couldn't get up. He
already knew that he wasn't
feeling well.
"Probably," Mail said hesitantly
because he wasn't sure if he will
be able to sit up by himself or not.
"Do you want to go see a doctor,
son?" Gap's mother asked in a soft
voice.
"It's okay, Mom. Let me rest for a
while and I'll go away," Mail said
back.
A/N :- It is in Thai culture to refer to and call a friend's Mother as Mom too. It doesn't have to be a boyfriend/ girlfriend. They can be close friends as well.
"Gap, let's help Mail wipe his face and body first. Mom will go down to get something to eat. So Mail can take some medicine and go to sleep," Gap's mother said.
"You don't have to," Mail hurriedly said, feeling a little considerate.
"How can I not? Gap got you hurt like this. Just Lie down and wait for Mom for a while. Gap, help him wipe his body first," Gap's mother said before quickly getting up and walking out of the room. Mail immediately turned to look at Gap.
