The Sun and the Moon (crossover)

Chapter 2

Cale watched Alberu slightly bowing as he gave his greetings to his father. 'Oh so he became an abandoned prince?..and the brother of the female lead.' Alberu really had the worst luck out of the two.

"You...how did that woman name you?" Claude asked quite rudely as always.When Alberu heard his words he halted for a moment before answering. "This prince was named Alver de Algar Obelia."

Claude raised a brow. "Alver...like the ancient word for spiritual being...an elf?" At the mention of the word elf  Alberu slightly flinched. But he quickly put on his dashing princley smile again and nodded in confirmation. "Yes indeed your majesty, my servants told me my mother named me so in hope of being closer to the natural elements and so to have a strong magical attribut."

"Is that so?" After those words there was a big silence in the room once again as Claude did not bother to say any more words and just stared at his son he hadn't seen all those years. Feeling that the silence was too awkward Felix that just watched everything on the sidelines decided to speak up.

"My greetings young Crown Prince, I am Felix Robane the personal guard of His Majesty." Felix bowed with coutesy and introduced himself. Alberu nodded and greeted him back. 

Just as Felix was about to introduce his nephew next, he saw Cale already taking a step forward. "Oh what a grand pleasure it is to be able to meet your noble self. I am Cale Robane.  My utmost greetings to your royal Highness, the Crown Prince. I must say your light is almost blinding so great and outshining even the light of the Sun God himslef. Truly it is my ultimate blessing to be able to be in your glamorous presence." Alberu's brows twitched when he heard those words. 'I can't believe I ACTUALLY THOUGHT FOR EVEN A MINUTE THAT I MISSED HIM!' He thought.

Claude and Felix also felt that those word were hard to bear. 'I am only outshining a mere sun but he his outshining a god?' Claude stared at them in bewilderendment, while having useless thoughts.

Cale saw Alberu's symbolic signature smile slightly twitching and felt satisfied. But Alberu didn't want to be outdone by his dear Dongsaeng after not seeing each other for almost a decade. " Oh this pleasure is all mine too. I already heard much about the young genuis warlock and I must say the rumours do not dissapoint! You are truly like the moon in a cold dark winter night, illuminating the world with your prestigous light  and granding the feeling of your charming protection." Now also Cale had twitching brows what made Alberu feel good.

'Ugh. You fake smiling punk.' Cale thougt while wearing a bright smile on his lips. And once again they left Claude and Felix stunned. "I cannot accept your praise. I am not worthy." Cale said humbly. "What are you saying. It  must be fate that let us meet, I feel like I have known you for years. You are three months younger than me so just calle me Hyung in the future." Alberu said with his princley charm.

Cale rolled his eyes in his mind but on the surface he played along. "Oh my! I am deeply honored to be the noble prince' Dongsaeng." ' I quickly want to grow up so that I don't have to act like this anymore.' Cale thought.

This pair of Hyung and Dongsaeng smiled and laughed. After confirming their brotherly bond they walked out of the room and made their way to the Crown Prince palace.

"Did they just leave?" Claude looked at Felix with a blank gaze. "...Yes, Your Majesty. They left."

At the Crown Prince Palace.

Cale and Alberu both sat down facing each other. " So you are still a prince this time. Seems like you got lucky heh." Alberu clearly heard the schadenfreude in his voice. " Y-You really! Hah!" The normally mild tempered prince really just couldn't keep his cool around Cale.

Suddenly there was a knock on the door.

"Come in." As Alberu's word fell the door opened and a maid and butler entered. It were Liah and Armin. One held a tray with tea and the other one, a tray with pastries on it. They put the trays down on the table and bowed respectfully before leaving the room again. Alberu looked at them strangely through that whole process.

After they left the room the seemingly elegant and proper servants suddenly dropped their act. Both looked at each other with a sentimental gaze, both felt like crying. Their dear prince had finally made a friend , so of course they had to make sure that their prince won't lose any face and acted  like reliable servants.

"I have a feeling that the palace and prince will be much more cheerful from now on." Liah said. Armin nodded in agreement.

"So have you already met your little sister ? " Cale asked.

"Hm not yet." Alberu didn't really want to interact with the  protagonist of this world, as he didn't want another source of trouble and headaches.

"So do you want to become Emperor in this world too?"  When Cale asked this question Alberu almost spit out the tea in his mouth. "Do you think I'm tired of living? Coveting the  things of the protagonist is simply asking for an early death."

Cale chuckled lightly at the anxious apperance of Alberu. "...Adorable.." Both of them froze after those words were spoken. " Y-you what?" Alberu cheeks flushed in a light red. Cale also felt a bit embarrassed when he realized he had spoken his thoughts out loud.

" Ahem...I.." *knock* *knock* Cale was interupted by somoene knocking on the door and let out a relieved breath.

"Yes? What ist it?" Alberu asked Liah who entered the room.

"Your Highness! His Majesty asked for you and young master Cale to come to the garden." Liah said.

"Okay I understand. We will go imidiantly." Cale answered for the still a bit dazed Alberu.

" ....But about your sister...isn't she 5 years old this year? It should be around this time that she first met your father."

" Yes it should be but I think we still have some time before the start of the nov-" Before Alberu could finish his words the voice of  Claude could be heard.

"Now, what where you doing in my palace?" Claude asked a certain platin blond, blue eyed little girls who he had picked up.

With deadpanned expressions Cale and Alberu watched this scene unfolding in front of them. 'For real now?' both thought in unison.
