Scarr!

A soft voice called my name, hot breath fanning down on my face. I let out a low groan, turning the other way around as I pulled the bed sheets over my face.

I heard a loud groan with constant tapping of shoes on the bed mat. 'God, it's too early for any drama'.

"One more minute" I mumbled out for like the one hundredth time since the voice tried waking me up. My eyes felt too heavy, it was just really hard to open them up. I guess this is my reward for staying up half of the whole night trying to read up for a f**ked mop up text.

Yeah, yeah...I'm what everyone calls a nerd. Not like I take pride in being called that tho. Buh in Bridgestone High, trust me, one's gotta do whatever it takes to graduate from the hellhole without being held one year back.

"SCARLETT AMAYA SCOTT" The voice finally let go of it's cool and calm voice pulling away the sheets covering my face, forcefully snatching the pillow situated below my head and slamming it down my face.

I let out a scream, sitting up wide-eyed in shock as I stared at the culprit who stared back at me sarcastically with both hands jabbed on both hips as if awaiting for war. "Sofia, what the heck is wrong with you" my voice came out croaked than I expected ,as I massaged my forehead letting my eyes adjust to the room's brightness to which the witch standing before me had to open widely all my curtains.

I winced in pain as my hands carelessly swept around the scattered books on my bed trying to find my glasses. "Here" Sofia said impatiently, opening my hands and placing then. "Thank you" I mumbled out lowly as I blinked my eyes severely, trying to adjust to the light's saturation in my room.

Glancing upwards, my eye making direct contacts Sofia Cortez, One of the prettiest girls at our school and also unfortunately, the witch I love so much and call my best friend since we were little.

Sophy as I tenderly call her, is a 5'6 inches sweet but dare-devil with sweet and lovely features. Black hair, dark grey doe eyes, pointy nose, a small face with a well crafted jaw-line... Let's not talk about the body shape that makes everyone fawn at first sight. While me? I'm just me. Dark hair, light brown eyes, tiny button nose and every other feature you'd find on a human.

"Scarr?!... I know I'm pretty, but your stare keeps giving me the icks" I was pulled out from my blank stare by her finger clicks against my face. I glared hard at her through my glasses. "Bitch" She murmured, giving me the middle finger before getting ontop my bed with shoes on, I wasn't able to act quickly before I found myself struggling on the floor wrapped around my bed covers.

"Sofia Mia Cortez" I cried out aloud, groaning as I felt so pains around my waist. "I think my waist's broken" I sat up a bit, trying to put a bit pressure on where it hurt most.

Sophy leaned over, sizing me up a bit before clicking her tongue. "Nah, you look okay" she shrugged, taking a look at her watch before sighing out. "Scar, would you please place your dramatic queen facade this one's and go dress up, we're late for school" She cried out. Look who's talking

Taking a glance at my wall clock, my suspicion sparked up. I frowned, getting up as I stretched out. "It's literally 6:30, classes don't start today till 8 Sophy" I gave her a dirty look. What's the rush today for??

I noticed her cheeks tint red a bit as she opened her mouth to speak.

"Scarlett, Sofia, you guys okay? " A knock came from the door, before it opened a bit and my mom's concerned face came into view. " I heard a loud bang from the kitchen"

"We're okay" Sophy and I said the same time, as I make my towards the bathroom. Knowing Sophy won't let me go back to bed even if I wanted to.

I really don't know how we've been friends for so long. I'm sure if we were both given a knife, we'd murder the other without a second thought.

I constantly threw weird glances at Sophy, watching as she chewed on her nails anxiously, always staring back down at her watch ever second as her driver drove us towards school.

"You're not helping matters Scar" Her voice came out a bit quirky as her foot began to drum against the car.

"What??" I asked, raising an eyebrow. I felt really amused, never ever have I seen Sophy so anxious.

She pulled away from her watch, rubbing her palms together as the glared at me. "Stop giving me those weird stares" she breathed out shakily. "Shit, is just me or is the weather cold today" She fanned her face with her hands.

I let out a small laugh, nodding my head. "Definitely you". I rolled my eyes. I felt really frustrated not knowing what was going on. "What's with your behavior since this morning".

She breathed out a sigh before turning to face me. "Alright don't freak out" She paused as if not knowing how know how to spill this beans.

I gave her a dumb look, raising an eyebrow already feeling amused at where the whole thing was heading to. " And why would I??" I asked.

"Just don't okayyy" She said, placing both hands on my shoulder and shaking me a bit. Her hands really felt cold . I nooded my head in agreement.

"Miko's Back" she finally said with a wide smile, grinning ear to ear.

"Wha-what???" I asked. It felt like I was zapped with the announcement, as I stared at her with my mouth hung open.

She nodded her head happily. "Yes, Miko's back" she announced once again. Staring back at my shocked face, she bursts out in laughter pointing at my face. I'm sure I looked like a drowning fish. "I had the same look, this morning when my parents told me aswell"

"Miko Mathews??"

"Yes Scarlett, the same Miko Mathews we both know".

Well, ohh shit....
