Chapter 2

I woke up and I turned to see no Kendall, I got up and brushed my long brown halo and thought she     was at work.  I got my maid outfit on and covered my eye, I couldn't take the chance of Sebastian seeing my red eye.. I walked down to see a young girl with blonde curl hair and green eyes. She smiled and waved at me, so I did it back. She walked up to me and told me her name was Lizzy, I told her my name and bowed. She seemed so bubbly!  I met Sebastian in the kitchen and he had  his sleeves   Pulled up.

He looked at me and threw me a dish rag and looked at the sink, I walked over to them and saw all the dirty dishes!! Does anyone CLEAN!!  It didn't take me long, I would say 3mins to do all 40 dishes.Sebastian just looked at me, I looked back and my eye glowed. I started to notice my eye glowed around him! The only other person it did that to was...Kendall! Could he be a...no. I walked away and he followed, great Hailey your first day and you blow it!!

He turned me around which made my eye show I just closed it. I covered it and smiled, maybe he was just checking on me. Yea right! What would I do if his eyes glowed!! Well they did, his eyes glowed a red...like mine. Ciel came down and I turned from Sebastian's grasp.

He told me to come over and I did as I was told. He told me that a young girl of 15 was looking for a maid. Her name was Marry Elizabeth Jonas. He handed me a picture and she had long black hair and violet eyes.

"I told her that you would love to have the job." Ciel said

"Your right I do, I would love it!" I said smiling

Marry would come and get me tomorrow. Sebastian handed me a red rose and smiled, I gently took it from his hands. I looked up at him, and asked him.

"I guess I didn't get the job here." I said looked at the rose

"Well what can I say, I don't need any undertaker taking my master." He said smirking

I gasped softly "how did you.." I said

"Demons can smell fear." He said whispering in my ear

I got cold bumps on my neck, I look at him and showed my eye. It turned purple, and red. It glowed and then it died down. I walked off and I could smell his joy. Why would he have joy? Maybe cause I was out of his jet black hair.

The next day I got all my stuff packed. I looked around the room one more time, and Sebastian walked in. He grabbed my bags, I walked down stairs and there stranded Marry.

She grinned and walked up to me. She shuck my hand. I saw Sebastian put my things on the carriage, I smiled and pulled out my dress that he gave me.

Sebastian help Mary up, and me to. He smirked at me, what's his deal? Mary and left the mansion and she looked out the window.

"So, your name is Hailey."

"Yes miss it is. Your Mary."

"I am, tell me about yourself."

It shocked me because no one cares to know me..

"I had a family but they died." I said

"My parents died last year. They left me with the house." She never showed emotion

"I'm sorry."

We arrived at her mansion, it was huge! It was white and a dark purple, I got out and look at it. The doors where side by side and steps that lead you up. I looked to my left and there were a horse stable.

I got my bags and walked in. She told me my room was upstairs and to the right. I told her when I was done unpacking I would start dinner. She smiled and told me I wasn't her only worker.

"There is Jasper, he is my horse man, Grace my Gardner, and Caitlin my animal care taker. You will handle the cleaning, cooking, and protection if me." She said

"I promise you my lady I will do as told. May I ask something of you." I said uncovering my eye

"Anything." Mary said

"Would you like to make a contract?" I turned to were she could see my eye.

"So the rumors are true. Alios told me that there were maids like you." She said "what is the deal?"

"As an undertaker, I shall do as told. Yet in the end I will determine you fate with god." I told her

"What does that mean?" Mary sat in her chair

"It means you will go to heaven or hell. It all depends on my chose."

Mary looked "deal." She said standing "will it hurt?"

"Only if you BELIVE it will." I placed my hands in her head "do you Mary Elizabeth Jonas agree to the contract of me Hailey? Will you do as I have told you?"

"I do Hailey." She said with her eyes closed

"Then I Hailey give you my symbol, when in danger call and I shall be there."

I closed my eyes and light went threw the whole room. We opened our eyes. I looked at her eye, no symbol, I looked at her tough, no symbol. I looked at her right shoulder, there my symbol stayed.

I told Mary she needed to cover it up. She asked why I had no gloves, I told her my symbol was on the back of my neck. There was no reason to wear gloves, but I had to wear dresses with long necks.

I walked in the kitchen to start dinner. I saw a young man of 18, he had ash grey hair, and yellow eyes to go with it. I walked infront of him to get what I needed.

"You must be the new maid. Names Jasper." He said eating an apple

"My name if Hailey, and your going to ruin your dinner!" I said taking the green apple

"Ok mom!" He said

"Thank you. Wheres the oil?" I said rolling up my sleeves

"Over in that cabinet." He said pointing

I got the oil, and cooked, I finish early. I decided I would start cleaning maybe let it cool, but the doorbell rang. I yelled coming and I opened it. There stood a young man Marry's age. He had light brown hair and sky blue eyes, he bowed and spoke,

"I am Asher Clemons Valentine, nice to meet you.."

"Hailey my name is Hailey." I said

"I had know idea Mary had a sister."

"Oh no I'm, her maid." I said hanging his coat up

"Oh my bad miss."

I showed him to Mary, there engaged. I don't believe in marriage at that young, but what ever. I finished all my cleaning, cooking, and unpacking. I walked in my room and went to sleep.
