I woke up at three in the morning, took a shower, and laid in bed trying to go back to sleep. I wasn't tired, and my mind was a buzz.
Maybe I'll go for a run, that will clear my mind, right? I put on some sweat pants, sneakers and a tee shirt. I grabbed my iPod and headphones, and walked out the door.
Yeah, it's probably not the best idea for a teenage girl to run around at three in the morning. I just have too much on my mind, too much to think about to care.
My slowly walk, picked up into a jog. The music blasted in my ears, and my heart pounded in my chest. The cool night air filled my lungs.
I felt so much better.
Suddenly, I sensed something and stopped. I got out of my vessel, commanded it to go home as quickly as possible, as I checked out the hollow I sensed.
I didn't know how well I can fight, with my mind on the frenzy like that. I'll try though, I have to try.
I sensed the hollow, but I couldn't see it. "Why is it?" I thought aloud. Then, I felt a hot, smoldering pain in my shoulder.
I jumped forward, and turned to face the hollow. My blood everywhere, and my breathing uneven.
I charged at the hollow, swinging my scythe. I managed to dodge most of it attacks, but one. One that tore my abdomen. This damn thing and it's claws.
I was panting, barely standing up. Black spots clouding my vision. No, I gotta stay awake. I used my scythe as a crunch as I prepared to fight again.
A blur of orange, black, and white flew across my vision. I couldn't exactly tell who it was, my vision was already so blurry.
"Ayama, Grimm, stay awake," a female voice cried out. I fell to the ground.
Why is there so much blood? I didn't know I had this much in my body. I'm in so much pain, trying to fight the need to sleep.
"Ayama, come on stay awake, Grimm," the female voice said again.
I was laying in the ground. The women's face close to mine, but so blurry I couldn't tell who it was. A blur of pale skin, and black.
"I-" I tried to speak, but with a burst of pain, everything went black.

I woke up in an unfamiliar room. The lights were too bright for my eyes. Trying to blink the light away, but failing.
"What were you thinking? Going off by yourself, and almost getting killed. God, Ayama, you had us worried sick!" a male voice yelled at me.
I turned my head slowly towards the voice and whispered, "Shut up, like you know anything."
The light finally fading, and I could see. I saw Ichigo glaring down at me, angrily. Then Rukia was on the other side of me, healing my damaged shoulder.
"I'm sorry," I muttered. "I should have been more careful."
"Yeah, you should have! Jeez, Ayama, what had gotten into you?" Ichigo replied.
"My father, he came to see me. Here, in the human word."
Rukia's eyes widened, "The Soul Society King rarely ever comes to the Human World."
"I am his daughter, Rukia. He was just checking up on me," I answered.
"Which is weird for a daughter of the Soul Society King to actually come to the Human World. The whole family stays inbetween worlds." Rukia's voice rang throughout my head.
"Well, let's just say, I'm special."
"We've always known that, Ayama. You're the daughter of Grim Reaper, the King of the Soul Society," Ichigo said, as I attempted to sit up. "Steady," he said, helping me up.
"Well, I'm more special than just that apparently," I muttered, and got up to my feet on my own. Dizzy, I leaned against the wall. The other two stood up, looking at me confused. "I gotta get home."
"You are not staying alone tonight. Not with that wound," Rukia told me, sternly.
"I agree with that one. Rukia, you better go stay the night with her tonight," Ichigo agreed.
I sighed, I knew it was pointless to argue. "Come on then. It's about a fifteen minute walk to my house from here, and it's already late."
Rukia nodded, and we waved Ichigo goodbye. We snuck out of the house, and started walking down the road to my house.
The walked seem so much better shorter than fifteen minutes. Me and Rukia talked the whole walk home, laughing, making jokes.
When we got to my house, I set up a futon on the floor for me to sleep on so Rukia could sleep on my bed. At first she refused, but I insisted.
Even though I was severely hurt, and in pain, I went to sleep that night. Laying under the bedroom window, to Rukia's soft snores. Watching the stars twinkle above me, with the biggest grin I've ever had on my face.
