a date in the apocalypse

Look back at your flesh.. your body

Don't you feel sorry for it?
You must feel ashamed
Ashamed of what you've done

What an unlucky piece of flesh, had to keep that tainted soul of mine
That soul that was fed on hatred and was not taught to love
That soul that was fed on torture, that happiness to it was pain

What a heavy mutilated body you made
A chunk of blood and flesh that walks
The face is shattered and unrecognizable

I can see shame in your eyes, i can see how it's unbearable to just exist
I know your existence makes you feel ashamed..
And  you wish you never existed

But dear.. what if you put your hand in mine
Because we know that all of this isn't "real"

And we're already at the end of time
Speaking of time.. what's this anyway?

So lets watch the world end
as if we were watching a lovely sunset at the beach

And lets watch souls  crawl to their demise
like we watch clouds forming shapes of fantasy

Lets watch buildings fall
Like we watch wind blowing random dandelions

Lets watch people die, as we have watched them live
Let's watch them cry as we watched them  once laugh

Because life has two halves
And the one you now  see is bigger than the other

Lets watch forests burn, and watch the trees vanish
Isn't that what they were made for?
This world was meant to burn

The sky is raining ink, the oceans turning black

The melodies repeat themselves and the world ran out of music

So take my hand and let's watch this apocalypse
And show the universe what this planet really is

The world will despise us and expect us to despise ourselves
And we too will despise the world
Because we were taught to reciprocate

Can't you just look into my eyes
And see how  infatuated with this apocalypse i am?
Watching life coming to it's conclusion
Was it even life or was it just delusion?

So just take my hand and accept What you've just seen
Because we finally woke up from the dream

And i see you're  still not comfortable in your flesh
So let me kindly peel your skin
take your flesh  off for you
And every layer of your body

Give it a warm "sorry"
Then let it burn with the world

Now you can't feel anything with no skin on

For if in your flesh you were, in your bones you won't feel shame
Because everyone's skeletons look just the same.

So hold my bones and to be sober, try to pretend
And let us  sit together and watch this world end
