... 𝐀 few weeks had passed by since Walker had left. I'd gotten pretty used to him not being around but things were still weird. The simplest things reminded me of him, flashing my mind back to that one heavenly week we shared together.
We'd still been talking, calling nightly and filling each other in on drama at school. Things were good. They were really good. I felt so happy when I was talking to him, he made me feel like the only girl in the world. But I didn't know if he felt the same.
Maybe I was second guessing myself, but things felt a little off. Especially since he got back to school. He sounded more distant on calls and his texts seemed a little bit more dry.
I tried to brush it off. He could be busy working on a secret acting project, or maybe school was getting to him. I couldn't blame him, school stresses me out more than my parents do.
