Tyla knocks on the door of Jackson's room.

Tyla: Father, can I come in.

Jackson: Yes, of course.

Tyla: Father, I uh, I wanted to talk to you about......

She is interrupted by candy.

Candy: Jack? What do you think about this dress? Is it cute?

Jackson: Uh yes, yes, it's fine.

Candy: I know, but there's just one problem, it's 5000 dollars.

Tyla: What! You want to spend 5000 dollars on a dress?

Candy: You don't understand. This dress is studded with real diamonds.

Tyla: must be really heavy. I hope you trip and fall.

Candy: I get it. You are just bitter because I'm marrying Dylan, and not you. Ok, so jacky, please buy it for me.

Jackson: ok, fine, just send me the details, and I'll pay.

Candy: Yay! Thanks so much, you are the best...... um, father in- law ever.bye ( she leaves)

Jackson: Yes, my child, what did you want to say.

Tyla: Father, I'm not going to question your decision because the elders are always right in decisions made for their children's well-being, but I will ask this one question. Why did you give the consent for Dylan to marry Candy.

Jackson: ( sighs) Tyla, I can't lie to you, and that's why I can't tell you.

Tyla: But why Father, I,I I don't want to put you under pressure, but I am really in need of the truth. Not too long ago, candy told me that the baby she is carrying isn't Dylan's child, so I need to find out the truth, and by you giving the announcement of thier wedding, you are making things way difficult for me to find out the truth.

Jackson: dear, you said Candy told you that the baby she is carrying is not Dylan's?

Tyla: Yes, dad.

Jackson: Well did, did she tell you who owns the child?

Tyla: No, dad, and that's what I'm trying to figure out, but why are you shaking in fear? Is something wrong, and you're burning up.

Jackson: No, dear, I'm fine.
Well, the reason I want Dylan to get married to Candy is because both of them have been childhood friends, and having to separate them now would be wrong.

Tyla: But don't you think it's also wrong to put the responsibility of someone else's child on Dylan's head? And if you think of it, the one responsible for her pregnancy might have left her and the unborn child to suffer as he ran away. Probably, that is why candy is compelled to do what she's doing. I pray that evil man will rot in the pits of hell and would never be able to impregnate another woman in his life.

Jackson begins to cough.

Tyla: Father, Father, are you OK?

Jackson: Oh, yes, yes, I'm fine. Dear, we have known candy for a long time, so we know that the child is definitely our blood, without doing any tests.

Tyla: But father.....

Jackson: enough tyla, I need to have some rest, so I'll talk to you later, but please, don't try to do anything to stop this wedding, unless you want me to be in big trouble.

Tyla: But why would you be in big trouble?

Jackson: That's something I can't tell u dear. Now please leave.

Tyla leaves the room as she bumps into Dylan. He catches her just in time as both of them get lost in each others eyes.

Dylan: are you OK,

Tyla: yes I'm fine.

Dylan: how are you doing?

Tyla: I'm fine

Dylan: um, you still look as beautiful as the first day I saw you.

Tyla: well I wish I could say same but I never saw your face.

Dylan giggles.

Dylan: ok listen, I'm actually heading out, but when I come back I would like both of us to have a chat. Ok?

Tyla: sounds good.

Dylan: alright, well then see you later.

He leaves as tyla heads to her room and texts Raymond.

" Raymond, meet me up at
     Justin's tomorrow".
