For once I had an early night, it felt good. I woke up feeling refreshed. However, I was starting to feel the nerves about mine and Bradley's date.
I really don't see the point in the date, I don't even know what's happening; I don't think Bradley does either.
Today I decided to wear a blue floral skirt tucked into a yellow crop top. I decided to wear sandals as somehow, the weather is still good.
I wonder if Bradley is as nervous as me?
I distract myself from my thoughts as I check the time. I only have ten minutes.
I quickly apply some red lipstick and mascara before quickly brushing my hair.
I quickly grab a small bag to put my phone and purse in before exiting my hotel room. Then I realise that I left my keys inside.
Brilliant.
I quickly run across to James and Bradley's room as they're nearest.
After knocking multiple times, James finally answers.
"I thought you and Brad were going on a date?" James asks in confusion.
"We are. I just locked my keys in my fucking room" I reply as I use my sunglasses to push my hair off of my face.
"Look, I'll get Joe to speak to reception. You, just go and meet Brad, you're already late"
"Are you sure?"
"Yes now go!" James replies as he gently shoves me down the corridor.
"And Jess?"
"Yeah?"
"You look lovely by the way"
"Thanks Jems!" I reply as I enter the lift.
Luckily the lift is empty so I arrive at the lobby in seconds.
As I look towards the hotel doors I notice Bradley sat down. He's tapping his foot as he stares at the floor, he's biting his lip.
I slowly approach him and I notice him tug at his curls. Is he nervous?
As I approach him I speak up. "Hey"
Bradley instantly stands up and pulls me in for a hug, before he kisses my cheek.
"Hello love, are you ready?" He asks as he offers me his hand.
I take it and entwine our fingers. As we exit the hotel he gives me a reassuring smile.
"So, I don't really have anything planned" He chuckles as we cross the road.
"That's good, I can't deal with all the over the top romantic and cliché shit" I chuckle.
"How about we get some fish and chips and go for a walk by the river?" Bradley suggests.
"Yeah, that sounds good" I smile in response.
"I can't wait to be back in Birmingham tomorrow, seeing my family in the crowd makes the show even better"
"Am I not good enough then?" I chuckle.
"No, you're not actually" Bradley replies with a smirk.
"Ouch. I hope you know you're paying tonight" I smirk.
"I was planning on paying anyway" Bradley smiles.
"So cliché" I chuckle.
"I know, anything for my princess"
