Yet another month has passed. The month has been filled with the odd photoshoot here and there, but finally things are starting to calm down.
Today is the day that mine and Bradley's parents are going to meet, Bradley's parents invited them over for a drink.
Yesterday me and Bradley went shopping to get me some oversized clothing, the cashiers gave me a few odd looks as the majority noticed that Bradley was with me. He would simply smile awkwardly before we would walk out of the shop.
"Jess" Bradley whines as he shifts a few coathangers in his wardrobe.
"Yes?" I ask, already knowing what Bradley is about to say.
"Please can you pick me an outfit?" Bradley replies with a pout.
I sigh in defeat as I stand up and walk over to where Bradley is stood, "Move out of the way" I chuckle as I search through his clothes.
"I think you should wear this" I reply as I place a white button up shirt and black skinny jeans in Bradley's arms.
"Thanks love" He smiles as he kisses my forehead gently before going into the bathroom to change.
Minutes later Bradley reappears. I mentally applaud myself for yet another good outfit choice.
I decided to wear a flowery loose-fitting dress. It'll be a while before I'll get to wear my bodycon dresses again.
Just as I've finished applying some simple make-up, we hear a knock at the door, before Bradley's mother calls for us.
"Are you sure you're ready to tell them?" Bradley asks as he holds my hands gently.
"Bradley, we'll have to tell them sooner or later" I reply nervously as I bite my lip.
"It'll be okay" He shakily replies before we make our way down the stairs.
"Mum, Dad, this is Bradley, my boyfriend" I smile after I've greeted my parents with a hug.
My parents shake Bradley's hand and smile at me, showing that they approve.
Mine and Bradley's parents appear to be getting along well. My dad currently appears to be talking to Derek about golf, as my mum and Anne talk about their children; basically me and Bradley.
A few hours have passed and everything seems to be going well, we're all sat in the living room still. Bradley squeezes my hand, meaning that he's ready to break the news to our parents.
"Mum, Dad, Mr and Mrs Simpson, we have something to tell you" I speak up shakily, they all instantly stop their conversation to look at me and Bradley.
"Please don't hate me Mr and Mrs Francis. I promise you that this wasn't my intention." Bradley speaks up as he takes a deep breath.
"I, I, I mean, we, me and Bradley. We're expecting a baby" I stutter.
Both of our parents sit in shock and they remain silent.
"Please don't hate me." I speak as my voice breaks and tears I didn't even know were there, started to flow down my cheeks.
"I'm sorry darling, it's just a bit of a shock. We would never hate you, we love you far too much" My mother speaks as a tear escapes from her eyes.
"Son, how could you be so stupid?" Derek shouts, making everyone in the room fall silent.
"I told you dad, it wasn't my intention" Bradley replies as he runs his free hand through his hair.
"Who knows?"
"Just you guys." Bradley replies.
"You need to tell Joe" my mum speaks up.
"But I'll lose my job" I stutter.
"Well you either lose your job or get rid of the baby"
"Come on, that isn't fair" Bradley interrupts my mum as he defends me.
"And you think you'll cope travelling, with a baby?" My mum asks.
Me and Bradley look at each other before nodding nervously.
"Well that's that then. I'll ring Joe" Derek speak as he goes to stand up.
"No, please" I beg.
"Darling, they need to know" My mum replies.
"We'll tell them" Bradley speaks up.
"We'll tell Joe and the boys tomorrow, after the photoshoot." Bradley continues, as he gently strokes my hand in comfort.-
"Jess!" Connor screams as he sees me walk into the boys room, where they're meant to be getting ready for the photoshoot.
"Hey Con" I smile faintly.
"Are you okay? You look a bit pale"
"I'm fine, don't worry about me, get ready for this photoshoot!" I reply with a smile as I ruffle his hair, gaining a pout in response before he wanders off somewhere to get ready.
"Brad, Connor, come on!" Joe shouts from down the corridor. Connor instantly runs out of the room, leaving just me and Bradley.
"Give me a minute mate!" Bradley shouts back as he turns to face me.
"We can't tell them." Bradley whispers.
"But Brad, our pare-"
"Don't worry about that, they won't see the boys, or management until at least next year!"
"Fine, okay." I hesitantly agree.
"But we have to tell our parents that they know"
"Bradley I can't do th-"
"Brad, here now!" Joe shouts from the corridor.
Bradley kisses my cheek before rushing down the corridor to find Joe and the other boys.
I'm left dumbfounded. Does Bradley really expect me to lie to my parents?
The answer is yes, yes he does.
