Chapter 4~Chris:

I stared back at the door. Did I say something that upset her? All I asked was what her mom thought. Did something happen to her mom? Shit.

I turned around and started walking back down the street. When I was at the end and about to turn the corner, I couldn't help but look back. I saw her jump. She was sticking her head out the window staring at me, but she hid as soon as she saw me. I smiled and rounded the corner, putting my earbuds in.

I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket. It was Nick. I didn't realize what time it was.

He was right. I had to hurry. I picked up the pace of my walk. I turned up my music and got lost in my song. But as I was walking, I found myself thinking about Rose. The way she talked. How she moved. The pink in her cheeks when I asked if she was okay.

No. Stop. I can't be thinking about her. I just met her. But she intrigued me. For some reason, I wanted to know more about her. But I won't be able to. She said that her dad was super protective.

But I was Chris Sturniolo. Was I gonna back down because her dad said so? Of course not. I just hoped that she wouldn't either.

I was almost to the house when I heard Matt and Nick yelling at each other. I couldn't make out what they were saying but I could tell that neither of them were actually angry.

They started on me as soon as they saw me.

"And where have you been?" Matt asks.

I avoided eye contact. "Don't worry about it."

Nick walked over to me, grabbed my face, and looked directly into my eyes. "Have you been doing drugs? Are you drinking?"

I shoved his arm away. "No! Get the fuck off me!"

Nick eyed me suspiciously.

"Nick, calm down," Matt said. "If he said he wasn't doing anything, then he wasn't doing anything."

Nick gasped, "Oh my god. Is it a girrll?" he said teasingly.

"Shut up Nick. No," I replied.

"Awwwww. He's blushing," Matt said.

"What are you talking about dude, no I'm not."

"So it is a girl," Nick said. It was a statement, not a question.

"I never said that," I said sheepishly.

"That means yes," Matt says, matter of factly.

"Shut the fuck up, Matt. What do you know about girls?"

"How about both of you shut the fuck up and get in the house so we can start filming. It's getting late," Nick said as he strode over to the door.

Later that night, as I lay in my bed, I couldn't stop thinking about Rose. There was just something about her that intrigued me. She was just so... I don't even know. She was perfect.

No. Stop. I can't be thinking about her. I don't even know her. I talked to her for like 3 minutes. And they were a wonderful 3 minutes.

I needed to stop. I sighed as I rolled over and drifted off into sleep.

Tomorrow should be interesting.
