Jason can't believe his eyes."Hi Jake."
Jake looks at him.
"Why are you here?"
Elizabeth glares at him.
"Jake! That's no way to talk to your father that way!"
Jake looks at his mother with a raised eyebrow.
"Are you kidding me? He's been gone for two and half years and now that he's back you're just automatically going to pretend like everything is the way it was before he went away. You might want to forgive him just like that mom but I can't!"
Elizabeth looks at Jake before she looks back at Jason.
"I should go."
Jason says before he turns around and walks towards the door.
"I'll walk you out."
Elizabeth walks towards the door and opens it.
Jason walks through it and is looking at both of them.
"Jake has every right to be angry. So do you as well as Sam and Danny. I promise you both that I am going to try and be better at coming over or meeting you wherever you want so we can spend time together as a family. We are a family and I promise that I will never leave you or the boys like that ever again. Listen, I know that given everything that's happened. I've been thinking about wanting the chance to make things right and maybe if we started spending time together so we can get to know each other again and make up for all of the time that we lost."
Elizabeth smiles at him.
"I'd love that. I love the idea of spending time with you and getting to know the person that you are now. Sounds like a great idea. I'm sure that Jake will be thrilled to know that we're going to be spending time together. As soon as everything regarding where you've been and then suddenly you're back from the dead I hope that now they can get your return from the dead stuff sorted out. We've both have been missing you so much."
Jason smiles back at her.
"The boys and I have missed you with all our hearts. There's not a day that went by where I wasn't thinking about you and the boys."
"Wondering how you all were doing. Wondering if you missed me. Wanting so badly to turn back the clock and do things differently this time. Wanting to do what I should have done the last time around."
Elizabeth looks up into his eyes.
"What would you have done differently?"
Jason takes a deep breath before he reaches out taking both of her hands in his.
"I should have came back home to you and the boys instead of going right back to Sam. I would have came straight here and we would do things different this time. That's if you want. Unless, you're seeing someone"
Jake watches his parents as he clears his throat.
"She's not seeing anyone."
Elizabeth gives him an angry look.
"What's going on?"
Jason asks looking back and forth between Jake and Elizabeth.
"He's joking. I am."
Jake looks at his mother sadly.
"Mom, come on. You know, you deserve better. I really think that this is your chance. Aunt Emily always said that she wanted you and dad to get married."
Elizabeth and Jason look at him with a raised eyebrow.
"How did you know that?"
