In the year 2033, Detroit stands at the precipice of supernatural chaos. The once-vibrant city now harbours an insidious secret. the Master of Shadows, an ancient malevolence, has taken up residence in the city. His nefarious goal? To tear open a hellmouth right in the heart of Motor City.
Enter Ray Stantz, one of the original four ghostbusters, who once battled ancient gods, and saved the world on multiple occasions. Ray, now grizzled and determined, has decided to open a branch of his paranormal business in Detroit. Armed with Proton-Packs, Ghost Traps, and unwavering resolve, he's ready to confront the darkness that festers in the city's abandoned factories and forgotten alleyways. But Ray can't face this spectral uprising alone. And so, he recruits a motley crew of unlikely heroes.
Dave Stantz – Ray's nephew, inheriting both his uncle's name and his unwavering belief in the supernatural. Dave's enthusiasm rivals Ray's, and he's determined to prove that the family legacy isn't just about catching ghosts, it's about saving the world.
Bobby Matthews – The irreverent, quick-witted member of the team. Bob channels the spirit of Peter Venkman, mixing sarcasm with scientific curiosity. He's the one who cracks jokes while dodging ectoplasmic slime.
Eddie Harris – A former Detroit cop who's seen it all. Eddie embodies the spirit of Winston Zeddemore, grounded and practical. He's the team's anchor, keeping them focused when the ethereal threats become overwhelming.
And finally, Maurice Richards – The brilliant but socially awkward scientist, and ex-high school teacher. Reminiscent of Egon Spengler, Maurice's mind is a labyrinth of spectral theories and quantum entanglements.
Together, this ragtag group forms the Detroit Ghostbusters. As they navigate haunted skyscrapers and cursed subways, they'll discover that the line between the living and the dead is thinner than ever.

As the first light of dawn filtered through the windows of Ladder 33, the Detroit Ghostbusters lay in a chorus of snores. Suddenly, the intrepid vlogger Julia Chang burst into the room. "Wake up, guys!" she exclaimed. "It's time for work."
Bobby groaned, rolling over and tumbling out of bed onto the floor. "ugh, where's the coffee? Uncle Ray always has coffee ready," he mumbled, peeking over the bed. "It's too early for 'uncle' Ray," Julia retorted, "He's still in dreamland." Eddie sat on the edge of his bed, rubbing his eyes. "I'm not budging until I've had my morning coffee. Its still dark, it might as well be midnight." Dave, ever the motivator, propped himself up. "come on team. We've got traps to empty and proton-packs to charge before we even think about breakfast. Ray won't be impressed." The team dragged on their crumpled jumpsuits and headed downstairs, sliding down the firepole one after the other in quick succession.
Dave and Eddie began unloading the rental van, carefully depositing the spectral contents from the night before into the containment unit, and placing the Proton-Packs into their chargers. In the kitchen, Bobby and Maurice were a culinary duo. Maurice manned three frying pans with ease, while Bobby tended to the toaster.
Ray suddenly made his entrance, sliding down the pole in his pajamas and sauntering over to join Julia at the dining table "morning Julia" he chimed, smiling as he sat down. Dave and Eddie weren't far behind. "BREAKFAST TIME!" Bobby called out, as he and Maurice emerged with two gleaming silver trays laden with morning delights. As the team tucked in, Julia's face fell. "Is there any Avocado for this toast? Or maybe some Muesli?" Bobby chuckled. "You won't find that here."
Ray offered a conciliatory gesture, presenting a box of pink donuts. Julia declined with a polite smile. "I'll manage until we're out," she said, nibbling on a piece of dry toast. Eddie leaned in with curiosity. "Do we have a destination today? I prefer to let the ghosts do their thing until someone rings us, seems easier that way." "the tunnels beneath the theater? The ones the goblins supposedly escaped through?" Julia reminded them. "We need to investigate. There's something down there that someone or something doesn't want us to find." Ray nodded in agreement. "That means it's definitely worth our attention."
