       So that was it,

Was all Crowley could think. He had waited for millennia to finally be with the one he loved more than himself and as soon as he got it, it was stolen from him by the very same side that sent him to his doom. His downfall.

Crowley stood right next to his Bentley, just moments beforehand he'd finally, after years of deep, filed away feelings, showed his love for the angel in the one way he could think to salvage what little hope in staying he had left in that moment. A quick, deafening, moment, without a second thought the demon took the angel's face in his palms, and Kissed him. Every single thought and feeling Crowley had ever felt was let out in just an instant.

Aziraphale stood there stunned, not sure if he should kiss him back, wary of what could happen if he had accepted the demon's love, would he be banished from heaven? Would he become one of the fallen? Or worse, could he be... could he be completely rid from the book of life too..?

No

Aziraphale desperately wanted to reveal all the love he had for the demon, he wanted to stay on earth with Crowley and live out the rest of eternity with him, however it may seem. But there was one thing stopping him, and he knew if he didn't go by the Metatron's orders, the love of his life would've never existed. For Crowley's own good, he thought to himself.

"I forgive you." was all the angel could let out, he knew if he told the demon what the Metatrons plans were, he'd have them both erased for eternity, to never exist again, or to have never existed at all.

For the first time in all his existence Crowley's heart dropped, he went pale at the words of his love, so cold and forward. He was taken aback, not by expecting the angel to decline his love, but just the thought of ever loving him all together.

"Don't Bother." The demon said in a harsh tone, escaping through the bookshop doors, he knew it was a stupid idea for an angel to ever be able to love a demon, especially since that demon was him. He knew that he should have never taken Nina and Maggies advice. I mean, How stupid could he be for ever thinking for even just a second the angel loved him? That they'd run away together and be an us, speaking of us, how could he ever even begin to think that there was an US?!

The angel was always going to be at Heaven's gate no matter how badly he was treated, and Crowley should've seen it.

He blamed himself for everything he could ever think of to exist, all the bad things to ever happen that is. He was foolish and he knew it.

But there he was, standing by his car watching the holy being leave this earth with no hesitation, it really made him wonder if he cared for him at all. Crowley got into the Bentley, not one thought in his head. He turned on the engine, even the car noticing his anguish, it started with not one problem. He pressed on the accelerator with much force and went faster than he'd ever gone before, even faster than when he went through the ring of hellfire blazing around london. As he drove he left a deep saddened feeling to every single street whilst also filled with so much hatred and rage that a human could feel.

He plunged through town after town finally out of London, even with as much hatred and rage he felt in the moment, he couldn't help but feel he'd lost something so important it was like clinging onto a life that has already been gone, he felt-

Hopeless

He stopped the car. A loud screech coming from the tires, leaving a hefty black tire mark on the pavement. He hung his head, his hands still clenched to the steering wheel. Enough to make them go white, its surprising that he didn't break it right off the dashboard.

"FUCK AZIRAPHALE!! FUCKING HELL, WHY COULDNT-" he screamed into his lap, Slamming onto the horn as it made a loud echoing beep. He had stopped on the corner of a barren road, not one house in sight. Just hills and trees for miles

Crowley however was cut off by the feeling of a red hot burning liquid singe out of his eyes, tears he recollected, and more than ever before, his face flushed a deep red as he let go of the steering wheel a slight pain wincing through his hands as they regained feeling, them as well, turning red, and he just held himself for a moment. "Why, why couldn't you just love me...?" he said in a hushed, desperate, plea to Aziraphale, even though there was nobody else around for miles to hear. He covered his face with his hands, water still pouring down his face in great streams.

For the first time in a long time, he actually didn't want to exist. He couldn't exist without the love of his sad, pathetic, and mainly demonic life.
