"Kal! come look at this!" Ezra called out standing ontop of one of the large rocks in the park "Garden of the gods". This is definitely dangerous without gear, but why would he care? Its just a huge rock that he, by some miracle, got ontop of. His knees were a dirty red from them rubbing against the red boulder that so happened to be formed like a cat, but thats all apart of the fun.
"Huh, wha is it- EZ!?" I finally looked back, worried but not shocked about Ezras placement. With a sigh I laughed a bit. "How in the world did you get up there?"
"I don't know! kinda just like, happened."
"What do you mean 'I don't know it kinda just happened' That rock is like 20 feet tall!" I agrued actually, but the height became really apparent. . I pulled out My phone laughing and aimed the camera at Ezra, catching a few photos as he rambled on about how small the people looked.
"get down from there!" I called, getting worried.
"you come up here! The view is amazing, and look" He walked to one of the "ears" of the cat bolder and tried to climb to the dull point, he fell a few times but he finally made it on the top of it.
"Now how would I do that, I don't even have gear and its huge. I dont even think this is regulated for climbing." a moment " GET DOWN FROM THERE! THATS TO CLOSE TO THE EDGE!"
"Oh stop the whining, just put your feet in the holes it'll fit in and on and get up here."
"fine." I reluctantly agreed and started to climb.
"god this is tiring" But I finally made it up there, hole by hole knott by knott.
"see? It wasn't that hard." He said helping her over the ledge
"I'm surprised it hasn't fell yet, it looked like it was on a pebble" I accepted his help and was standing next to him, looking down at the rocky ground floor.
"It'll be fine."
Crack.
They were there for a while, surprisingly uncaught. They talked, Ezra was worrying me out of my mind because of the "tricks" and "cool moves" he has and is showing me.
"Will you quit that, I swear I just felt a sway"
"It'll be fine."
crack.
"But what if-"
"It'll be fine! look." He said doing a backflip.
Crack.
He landed too close to the edge, now he's falling. This Beautiful place is full of balanced rocks, blue skys, and all I can see is red.
