Empty arms

Tom

Conscience comes back to my body and I open my eyes to smile at her... but my arms are empty.

Amie why are my arms empty...

Alerted, I sit up, turning my head as if I'm going to see her somewhere in the room. Running my hands across the mattress, I come to realisation that her clothes aren't here anymore.

Shit.

Hurriedly putting my boxers and jeans on, I run out into the main area of the tour bus to see Bill sat on the cream leather couch.

"Bill, where's Amie?!"

"Oh that's her name! She left the bus just under an hour ago. Just another groupie again, eh?"

"No, no, Bill, not another groupie. Shit where'd she go." Bill gives me a confused look but I completely blank it out, running back into the bedroom and grabbing my phone, clicking on the number Amie had exchanged me last night after our encounter.

Amie

Me
Amie? Where are you? When did you leave?

Me
Hello? Amie please answer.

Me
Please Amie what did I do for you to get up and leave? Don't ghost me now I'm begging you.

My legs bounce up and down consistently as I scroll through my phone, praying for a notification from her.

What did I do for her to leave? Did she not enjoy last night? Did I say something I can't remember?

To pass time by, I go onto Facebook and immediately see a post from Lilah.

Shit, what the hell Lilah?

She posted a photo taken last year of us making out at a club - when I was drunk. Amie must've seen it. There's no other explanation for it.

Sighing sharply, I scroll through the comments, and see my name. A frown appears on my face as I read the comment.

That's... not me?

I click on the account. All of the posts were the exact same things I'd posted on my account.

LILAH YOU LITTLE SHIT!

Amie

"So what are you gonna do about it?" Niamh asks from her desk, leaning back on the desk chair as she basically interrogates me.

"Nothing. He's a player, I shouldn't have gotten attached so quickly. I knew what he said to me was a lie." My tone made me sound completely unfazed, but on the inside, I was breaking.

"So... that's just... it? Your not gonna do anything? Just pretend nothing happened?" Sia asks unsurely.

Before I could reply, my phone buzzes from beside me. Flipping it over, I glance at it to see a message.

An unknown number.

Shit, I gave Tom my number last night.
