As much as I enjoy flying, waking up early is not for me. I mean seriously how do people really expect me to be peachy if we have to get to the airport by five in the morning. Currently my alarm clock read 03:28. I got a delightful 3 hours of sleep and you could tell buy my retched appearance. Thank god I woke up early enough to give myself time to fix how I look.I wanted to start my day off on the right note so I played my favourite playlist, which consisted of many of my favourite songs from different artists that I had listened over the past couple years. Creating this playlist perfectly has taken me the past three months and is still under work. I'm very particular about what music I listen to.
Looking over my shoulder I found the outfit that I had made the night before laid out on my vanity chair. It consisted of grey sweatpants, a basic black baby-tee, and my favourite white graphic hoodie. Basic I know, but realistically I'm going to an airport so I'm going to let myself be comfortable for the 12 hour the flight.
I chose to do natural makeup as there is no way I'm going to an airport full of people looking like a rat. As much as I'm confident, it is most definitely not that much. For a simple and fast hair do I tied my hair up into a claw clip and pulled out face framing pieces.

Once we had passed through security and put our larger bags underneath the plane, we still had about an hour to spare before we were supposed to begin boarding. Usually I would just spend that time listening to music, or scrolling on my phone. However, now I actually had entertaining company, so I decided against doing that.
Even with my free entertainment I couldn't ignore the immense feeling of hunger that was beginning to grow in my stomach. The early morning hunger was finally catching up to me, so I got up to start wandering around the airport in search of some substantial snacks.
I grabbed my phone and put it into my pocket, "Anyone want anything from the shops?" I asked before leaving, secretly hoping that nobody would say yes as airport food was super expensive.
"Do you mind getting me a water?" Swayam asks lifting her head from her phone.
"Yeah no problem." I say, considering she let everyone round to her house and raid her cupboards I though that it was only fair.
"Yeah, can you just get me a random bag of crisps please?" Freya then followed on from Swayam. Right two things on the list, that's fine. Plus Freya was like a sister to me so I didn't mind supplying her.
"I wouldn't mind a Coke." Mk then adds, the list started to grow. One drink at the airport costed about $4 in LA, minimum. I was beginning to get scared of the total price that it would eventually come to. I mean yeah I don't mind buying a couple things for people, but seriously like could they have not gone on their own.
"Hey Kate if you are going can you get me some gum and a water as well." Milo said. Fuck. My shoulders dropped as I had just realised how much people wanted me to get. Never mind the price of it, how was I going to carry all this back?
"Yeah no problem guys." I start trying to take mental notes of what everyone said and revising it.
"I'll come with you K." Malachi said probably noticing my change in mannerism. He grabbed his wallet before standing up and following me.
"Thanks." I say as we begin to walk off from the rest of the group and towards the shops.
"I'm going to pay for this." He said, well actually more or less demanded. His tone showed no sign of budging. I turned my neck so that I could look at him with a face that displayed confusion.
