Rio falls out of his bed, startled awake by the warning sirens going off. What's going on?! "Mom!!!" He gets up and quickly runs to the living room where his mother was sitting, staring at the T.V. in fear. "Mom what's going on?!" Rio asks but was immediately interrupted as a voice came from the T.V., "Everyone to the safe houses! This is not a drill; I repeat this is not a drill!" "Rio get your brother and sister..." His mother said her voice, shaking. He nods, running to get them and we all run out of the house.

About ten minutes later they ran into Fray. Rio's face immediately breaks into a grin. "Fray!" he calls out, excitedly. "Rio! Over here!" Fray calls back. Rio runs over and practically jumps into their arms, hugging them tightly. "I was so worried about you..." He murmurs softly. "I was worried about you too..." A car pulls up next to Rio and Fray. A pink-haired girl pokes her head out. "Hey Rio, Fray." Rio waves "Hey. Raine!" Fray nods to her "Sup."

"Where you are heading?" He asks softly.

"Oh, to the hospital to check on my grandma." Raine responds.

"Can we come with? I really don't want to go to the safe houses..." Rio practically begs.

"Sure. Anyone else?" She says.

Rio glances at Fray. "Of course I'm going." Fray responds.

"I'm going only because someone needs to keep an eye on you kids." Rio's mother chimes in. His sister says she's also going before immediately being interrupted by their brother. "What are you idiots doing?! We need to go to the safe houses!" Rio glares at his brother. "You don't have to go Garrik!" Garrik growls and storms off. "You all are going to end up dead." He shouts as he disappears around the corner. "Alright every one let's go!" Raine says trying the ease the mood. Everyone gets in the car and leave.
