Husker sighs. "Here" He reluctantly hands her a lighter. "Thanks!" She smiles "Ur the bomb!" Casey smiles as she walks away, heading to the balcony. "Hey, wait a minute." Husker suddenly says. "Mind if i join you?" He asks. Casey was surprised at this offer. "Uhhh sure" Why did he want to join her? Casey smiled anyways and they headed up onto the balcony. When they got up there, Casey sat at one of the chairs at the table. Husk sat across from her. She lit the joint and took a big hit, which ended up making her cough a lot. Casey handed the joint out to husk, as if offering him some. He thought about it for a second, but accepted. They both coughed for a minute before Casey spoke up. "So.. why'd you wanna join me out here?" She asks, genuinely curious. "Well.." Husk started "Bartending gets pretty boring late at night. Plus, I think i have a lot to learn about you." Casey took another hit, but this one was smoother as she's already high. "Well, what do you wanna know?" She asks. "For starters, how'd you end up in hell anyway? You're only a teenager... It aint like you committed murder or something.. right?" He asks her. "NO. No murder.. I actually don't know. I have a few guesses but i didn't think theyd land me here." "Well, what are those guesses?" Husk asks her, he's really curious. So many things don't make sense about her. "Well.. I did shrooms once.. I smoke weed , i sneak out, typical teenager stuff. I mean I was an atheist so.." She pauses to think. "I- I'm not even gonna comment about the shrooms thing... but that's it? really?" Husk questions, that doesn't seem like enough to land someone in hell. "Yeah.." "Well, howd you die?" Husk asks "Sorry if its a.. sore subject." He realized quickly he may have messed up. "Nah its... fine i guess. Car crash. I snuck out with my friends one night and apparently they drank before driving and bam. Right into a damn tree." Husk thinks for a moment. "I think you should be up in heaven right now, but maybe heavens getting stricter with their rules." Husk shrugs. "But anyways, you're stuck here now wether you like it or not. How you feeling?" He asks. Truthfully, Casey hadn't processed this all very much

"Its.. a process. I look totally different." She starts. "Tell me about it. I'm a fuckin' cat now" Husk comments, making Casey laugh and lightening the mood a bit. "I'm just not used to it.. and I have to learn a new way of living that I didn't even ask for or expect. And I'm stuck here? With cannibals and killing around every corner? I- Im ranting. Whoops." Casey stops herself, she's venting to a total stranger. Apparently, she really needed to get this out. "Honey, nobody asks for this or even expects it. Sure it's different, but it's not all bad... you know? Ill teach you the ropes if you want" The words flew out of husks mouth before he even realized what he was saying. He was gonna help this girl? "Thanks.. i appreciate it." Casey smiled. For once, husk met someone who didn't completely annoy the shit out of him. "Yeah.. its whatever. Its late you should get some sleep." Husk groaned and yawned, stretching his back. "Yeah okay" Casey put the rest of the joint in her pocket." Husk was walking away. "Hey husker?" He turned around. "What do i do about these clothes...?" Casey pulled at her worn down top. "Can you wear em tonight?" Husk asked. Casey nodded yes. "I'll talk to Charlie tomorrow, im sure she'll have something you could wear. How much money you got?" "..5 dollars." "Jesus you spent that all on weed?" Husk sighed. "That aint gonna be enough to buy something so yeah, I'll talk to Charlie." Casey sighed in relief. "Thanks. Night." Casey said. "Night" Husker replied while walking away. Casey was left out on the balcony alone. She looked at the city from afar one last time, taking in that this is her new home, before heading to her room and crashing on her pillow.
