"Don't think I'll be nice to you just because you're a woman, sergeant."

Ghost had sternly said to me as we both walked into our room.

Price had to make the decision to make me and Ghost share a room, small but roomy, I guess. Two beds, oddly close to each other... I don't mind though, but I'm starting not to like this damn 'Ghost' guy cause he's so fucking mean to me for no reason.

"Don't think you'll be from the looks of it." I sigh, dropping my bag I had grabbed from that one room that solider had led me into and made me place my bag underneath a bunk he said I was sleeping in...

I hear Ghost grunt as he shoots me a glare.

"I thought I was sleeping in that bunk room?" I then speak up. "Well, Captain decided It's be best to pair us up since I'll be training you." Ghost bitterly says, now facing me from the end of his bed as I stand at the end of mine. I cross my arms on my chest, leaning against the frame.

"You're training me?" I raise an eyebrow, my head cocking to the side as I hair strand falls over my eye. I don't bother to move it.

"That's what I said, ay?" He states. I roll my eyes ever so slightly, sighing as I then sit on the edge of the bed.

"When do we start training then?" I ask, looking at the ground as I sink into the edge of the bed.

He stays at the end of his. "In about 2 hours, so get yourself ready for some rough tough shit."

Slight anger goes through me. Does he think I'm weak?

I stand up and walk towards Ghost.

"Do you think I'm weak, or something?" I look up at him. He towers over me, and his head dips down ever so slightly. He bends down to my level and I lean backwards the slightest.

"We'll find out, love. I don't know if you're weak or strong. I'll find out in sparring." He sharply says. I clench my jaw. "Sparring? With who?"

"Me."

Fuck.

"You?" I repeat, "that's what I said, isn't it?" He smart remarks back.

I then try to slightly shove him backwards in a defensive move about to say something, but he instantly grabs my wrist and holds me still. A small gasp erupts from my throat.

"D-Don't think you're some smart ass just by saying that." I stutter, trying to pry my wrist away from his grip.

"I didn't say I was a smart ass." He grips my wrist tighter and glares down at me, and I look into his eyes. Anger fills me slightly.

"There it goes again! Gosh—- we've just met and you're already so mean to me! What's your fucking problem?!" My brows furrow as I feel his grip tighten around my wrist.

"Try and break free. Go on." He then proceeds.

"..what?"

"Try. and break. Free." He repeats.

I huff out sharply and try to get my wrist out of his grasp, but it tightens again. I bite my lip and hold back a noise, and then I go to grab his wrist with my free hand but his other free hand grabs my other wrist too.

"Simon—-"

"Ghost. Lieutenant Ghost." He strictly says, then spins me around and puts me in a headlock with his arm, and a choked noise comes from me.

"Cmon, Y/N." He grips tighter. I squirm in his grasp.

I hear him scoff.

"You're weak. Pathetic." He degrades. "This is why I can't be partnered up with recruits like you. No experience in shit like this at all, which annoys the bloody hell outta me." He roughly lets me go and I almost fall, but he catches me and sets me on my bed, and leans down close to me.

"You're gonna need rough training, little girl." He chuckles darkly and move the strand of hair out of my face and then leans back up.

I take a deep breath and look up at him with slightly wide eyes. Fuck, why was that—... never mind...

"..I'm not a little girl."

"To me you are," he replied.

I shove past him and walk to my bag, unzipping it then beginning to unpack.

"And I'm not weak. Nor am I fucking pathetic. Think all you want, lieutenant. Don't underestimate me." I sternly say to him as I throw a few clothes onto my bed. He scoffs and walks to the door, opening it before pausing and speaking with a teasing tone.

"See you in 2 hours, sergeant."
