"Hulk!" She yelled (my old highschool nickname).
I smiled realizing it was Tara. "Tara!" I yelled back.
We hugged and talked about our lives and what we've done (I did see her sneak a weird look up at my beanie).
I left out that I had cancer, I would leave that util the speech. She dragged me towards the crowd to say hello to everyone. It felt I was there forever talking to everyone.
I finally got free of the crowd and made my way to the re-freshment table. As I was having a drink, I felt someone pull my beanie off. I turned and snatched it off them and put it back on my head before anyone noticed. I looked up to see who had pulled off my beanie and saw a familiar goofy grin.
Ben.
He was the only who knows that I have cancer, as he hasn't changed his phone number since highschool. Nothing could explain how happy I was to see him. We hugged and stood in comfortable silence, looking at everyone laughing and catting.
