She is currently running from a creature that has a long head, white feather and mainly looks like an ostrich, its known as an Ornithomimus, and it is a carnivore

What is this place, and why am i geting chased, is this some elaborate prank? I was just walking from work to home when suddenly i blinked and saw i was in a forrest and around me looked like it was burnt? I dont know

as the woman was thinking she was suddenly rammed from behind by the Ornis(im shortening it idc) head and fell down

Just as the head of the orni was about to dive in a peck and eat the woman a slashing sound is heard, when the woman looked up she saw that its neck and head was gone and was now on the ground, as it lost its head the orni is now running around like a headless chicken(literally) and falls over before dying of blood lost

Hey you there! You okay?

The woman looked to the side and saw a girl? boy? With blue long wavy hair and golden eyes staring at her while holding a katana

You need a hand to stand up?

Taken out of her thoughts she replied

Ye-yea thanks

She accepts the hand and is pulled up

I see your new here, this place is not earth, its a place called Durango and judging from how you look you were just warped here

O-oh wait, are you serious? Theres no way thats real your lying right? It has to be a lie, theres no way this isnt earth but that creature just now doesn't look like anything ive see anywhere

Oh dont worry, this may not be earth but everything here is Similar to earth. . . If we were in the age of dinosaurs with no technology

Well close but also not right, think of this place as a parallel earth or a new born earth and the dinosaurs are all roaming and exist.
