Before heading into the first gym battle, we level up our Pokemon to 25, evolving where necessary, and this is the team we're going in with. We aren't using Metang, because it was leval 25 when we got it, and still only knows Take Down.

First up is Vulpix, so I send in Sandslash, after Drought sets up the sun, we take it out in a Magnitude 7.

Next up is Deerling, so I switch in Farfetch'd, Deerling is faster thanks to the sun and hits us with a Facade, but we knock it into healing range with Areal Ace, before taking it out in one more as Orion heals.

Next up is Charmeleon, so we send out Sandslash, thanks to the sun and Charmeleon's Solar Power, we can only take one hit, but luckily we hit back with a Magnitude 8 to one shot it.
