Collette had single handedly regenerated herself.
Edgar was stunned. "Collette?" Wait.
Her skin was no longer of a human's. It was red, alike the devil's. Her eyes glowed green, illuminating the dark, rainy afternoon at the yard.
Edgar still was wondering if she was there. "Collette?"
This, new, Collette released a shriek.
This worried Byron. He whispered to Edgar. "My condolences, but your Collette is gone. She's turned.... Trixie. We have to get rid of her. Or she will kill us all."
Edgar shouted. "No."
Byron was losing edge. "Listen to me. We Have to do it. Do you want to know who killed your parents?" Silence. "A trixie."
Edgar was shocked. "I hate you."
