The following week started off relatively nice,nothing crazy happened...yet
Kensy announced at breakfast one morning that everyone would be spending the weekend at Uncle Marco's farm...it was right at the outskirts of town.Kalvari leaned over to whisper to me that Marco was Jericho's childhood friend and that he has a daughter that Karlson has a huge crush on!

I think Karlson did hear us despite the low whispers because he shot me and Kalvari a very ugly look that clearly stated"busy-bodies".

I couldn't help laughing because even Jericho teased Kensy for primarily going there to gather chicken feet from Marco's wife,Oriya.

After breakfast,we all gathered our belongings and filed into Jericho's truck...it took about 2 hours drive but it seemed like a whole day's drive because of how much fun we were all having...trading embarrassing stories with each other

"No way!,I would never forget how Kelly and Keith robbed the refrigerator when they were 6 & 9!...We found them in the basement devouring pizza"Karlson said and everyone was soon jeering at Kelly and Keith for that.

"You were supposed to be watching us,Karlson but you weren't so we found us something interesting to do"Keith defended them both,looking at Kelly to say something.

"He was too busy fan-girling over Allanah at the time to notice our existence"

A reverberating "ooooooohhhhhhh" went through the bus and Jericho burst out in laughter he had been holding since we started.

"Wait,so it's a childhood thing,yeah?"I asked,actually surprised that Karlson has liked Allanah for so long.

"Oh yes,he was 12 at the time"Kelly said,enjoying the way he turned the tables on Karlson.

"No one wants to talk about how Mom and Dad sporadically popped us all out?!"Kayden suddenly said and everyone roared in a fit of laughter.

Kensy gave Kayden the finger and looked at Jericho for support...Jericho leaned in and kissed her briefly before looking back at us,breaking his focus from the road for a split second.

"She's irresistible"He said gruffly,smiling from ear to ear.

Everyone said as their gaze lingered on each other,
Kalvari squeezed my hand,making me glance at him momentarily

"Kalvari likes Jeannette"Knox said and my heart almost stopped.

The bus got quiet for an unbearable split second before Jericho chuckled and said "we all like Jean"

I nodded and smiled wryly before catching Karlson's eyes...He winked at me with a funny grin on his face.

I laughed out loud and flipped him off.

"I say we all give her a kiss to show how much we love her!"Kaleb piped and I looked at him bewildered.

Kalvari promptly kissed my head and soon the boys were clambering over each other to get to me!

I was scream laughing underneath their weight and I could hear Kensy and Jericho telling them to leave their "sister" alone.

As the car pulled into the large farm land...it was a sort of resort,with large silos and barns at the very edge of the land and pens neatly built at the left side,flanking the major house

The house is a two storey with grand ground floor that housed beautiful gardens and a indoor fountain!
We even had house helps take our bags and see us to our respective rooms because the Ferreiras were yet to return from an outing.
