<Moon>

“Sun!” I yell. I walk into Sun's room and see him passed out on the floor. I sigh and gently kick him.

“Huh?!” Sun jolts awake.

“Wake up.” I say, kicking him again, jokingly.

“Okay, I'm up.” He says, sitting up.

I smile and watch him rush around his room to get his stuff. After about thirty seconds, I walk downstairs and see Lunar trying to reach the jelly. I walk up behind him and grab it. I hand it to him.

“Oh, morning, Moon!” Lunar says, as cheerful as ever. Ever since we took him in, after we saw the hell hole he was living in with Eclipse, he's been a lot happier and doing better in school.

“Morning, Lunar.” I say, smiling.

“Ready for school?” He asked, spreading jelly on a piece of toast.

“Yeah. I am pretty sure we are getting a new kid. I have to have him shadow me all day.”

“Doesn't sound fun.”

“At least the new kid doesn't have to deal with Sun.”

“Agreed.”

“Hey! I heard that!” Sun said, walking in the kitchen and grabbing a piece of toast.

“Let's go before we end up being late.” Lunar said, changing the subject.

“Is Earth up?”

“EARTH!”

“I'm up.” Earth said, walking into the kitchen.

“Alright, let's head to school.” I said. I looked at Earth. “Is Monty giving us a ride or is he making us walk?”

Right as Earth was about to answer, someone honked outside. I looked out of the window and, sure enough, Monty was sitting outside with their SUV. I gave them a thumbs up.

“That was our answer?” Sun asked.

“Yeah.” I replied. Everyone filed out of the door and I locked it.

“Let’s get going.” Monty said, unlocking the doors. We all filed into the car and buckled our seat belts. When everyone was buckled, Monty pulled out of the driveway and drove towards our school. Lunar started talking to Monty since Foxy and the Bloodmoon twins were living with them now. Lunar didn’t like the BloodMoon twins but, at this rate, he just wanted to make sure that they were okay. Neither of them were allowed at school because they had killed at least fifteen people at their last school. Each. They didn’t get sent to a mental health facility or a prison because the court thought they were far too unstable to have in either place. Monty volunteered to have the twins live with them because they had security measures that would keep the twins under control.

“Moon.” Sun said. “We’re at school.”

“Oh.” I replied, realizing that I had zoned out. I got out of the SUV as I looked over and saw a kid under a car with a wrench.

“Try it now, Mom!” he yelled at the lady in the driver's seat. The lady turned the car over and it started perfectly fine. The kid slid out from under the car and put his wrench into the car.

“Go to school, already.” the lady said.

“Don’t forget to get the engine check and the oil changed. Also, you need to get your wheels aligned.” He replied.

Holy shit, this kid knew a lot. He could one hell of a mechanic and not even have to graduate to get a good job.
