Heaven Ann-Marie James
After a few hours it's 6.45 and I'm fully dressed I run my hands down the black dress one more time before picking up my phone to call Nowan.
I grab my dior slides and pull them on holding my heels in my other hand. I'll put them on before I go into the restaurant.
"Hello."
"Hii, you said to call you when I was done,"
"Yes, I'm here at your door." He says before hanging up. I quickly turn everything off and rush to the door my slides slapping on the wood floors. I swing the door open seeing him standing there in a Essentials shirt and baggy true religion jeans and white air forces.
"Hello," I say stepping out. He doesn't move back so my chest is slightly pressing against his. I close my door locking it trying not to dwell on that.
"You look nice." He says taking my heels and bag from my hand. I smile looking up at him. Ugh finally a man my dream height.
"Thank you, you do too"
He grabs my hand and we walk towards the lift. I'm too geeked by him just holding my hand. My phone starts ringing and he pulls it out of my bag handing it to me. Fingers crossed he didn't see those tampons in there.
"Jah🐀"
I press the green button getting into the lift. I lean against the disabled bar and Nowan stood next to me, texting on his phone.
"Yes Jahreem"
"You tell us to come and you're not even here."
"Don't rush me, it's only 6.47"
"Uhn uhnn, but I got here earlier because I wanted to beat the black stereotypes-"
BEEP.
I press the red button.
Nowan starts laughing next to me. I smile at his laugh. "I never got your real name."
"Egypt." He says leading me out into the underground car park. He presses his car keys and I see his Bugatti car lights flash. We walk to it and he opens the door for me. "Thanks"
He gets in the places my bag in the backseat and sets my heels by my feet. "If your names Egypt then why do people call you Nowan?" I say buckling in.
He pulls out the garage and Don't rush my NSG starts playing. "When my sister was younger she couldn't say Jenowan my middle name so she just said Nowan.
I smile, "You have a sister? What's her name?"
"Nile."
"That's actually cool Egypt and Nile." I say nodding. He rest his elbow in the console and starts driving with one hand. He looks and me smiling and flashes me his caps.
