"Wooyoung??!!!!!?!" I shouted loudly, then abruptly covered my mouth, realizing I was in the hallway with everyone around.

"Yes, yes, babe, it's me," Wooyoung chuckled. I slapped his shoulder. "Stop calling me babe. Now, what are you doing here?" I asked curiously.

"Why can't I come to see my dear girl?" he said with a sly smirk. "Shut up. Why are you being so cheesy all of a sudden? It's weird. Stop it and tell me clearly what you are doing here," I repeated.

"Oh, well, I took admission here," Wooyoung calmly said, hands in his pockets.

"What?!" I exclaimed.

"Shh!!! Don't be noisy," he hushed me, and I nodded, my eyes still slightly widened.

"Wow! It's surprising to find out that my childhood friend is going to study in the same university as me, haha!" I said, laughing.

"Well, how have you been, Y/N?" Wooyoung inquired.
"I'm fine, and you?" I asked him.
He nodded. "Fine too." He said his lips tugged into a small smile.

"Go to your class, Y/N!" My breath caught as I heard a stern voice from behind. I knew immediately who it was. I gulped and turned around slowly, meeting Professor Kim's unwavering gaze. His dark, piercing eyes sent a shiver down my spine.

"S-sir-"
"I fucking said go to your class!" He cut me off sharply, his voice escalating, causing me to flinch involuntarily.
I nodded abruptly, without another thought, and disregarding Wooyoung, I hurried away from the scene.

Author's point of view-:

As Y/N made her way towards the classroom, Taehyung took a few steps towards Wooyoung, his steps deliberate and imposing."Who are you, boy?" Taehyung inquired sharply, his voice deep and commanding.
"I'm Wooyoung, the new student. And you?" Wooyoung replied, adjusting his posture respectfully.
Taehyung nodded thoughtfully. "You're in her class?" he asked again.

Wooyoung shook her head as no.
"Ah, I see. Well, I'm a math professor here, Kim Taehyung, and I'm your professor too," Taehyung stated firmly, his gaze stern and penetrating.

Meanwhile, Y/N felt a knot of fear tighten in her stomach after Professor Kim's earlier sharp reprimand.
She entered the classroom quietly, finding her seat and settling into it with a sense of unease.

Her usual friends were absent, and she knew Wooyoung, her senior, wouldn't be sharing her class. This semester marked her final steps toward graduation, a milestone she had eagerly awaited.

Her thoughts turned to happiness momentarily, only to be shattered by a sudden, resounding thud that echoed through the room.

All eyes turned towards the doorway where Professor Kim had just entered, slamming a book onto his desk with startling force. The abruptness of his action silenced the class instantly, causing Y/N's fleeting joy to evaporate into a renewed sense of apprehension.

Y/N's Point of view -:

The classroom was quiet until a sudden thud broke the silence, making me jump in my seat. I looked up just in time to see Professor Kim slam a book down on his desk. "Everyone, get out your math books, page 69," he said, his voice flat and emotionless. His sharp gaze swept the room, and when his eyes met mine, I felt a shiver down my spine. I quickly buried myself in my textbook, trying to avoid his intense stare. Without another word, he turned to the board and started the class.

"In our discussion today, I've clarified this concept. Now, I'll write some questions and ask students to solve them. Clear?" He scanned the classroom as he spoke, and all the students nodded in agreement.

My thoughts drifted admiringly until his voice snapped me back. "Miss Y/N, come up and solve this," he said, pulling me from my daydream. Nervously, I stood and approached the board, clutching the hem of my dress. While I understood the concept well enough not to be afraid, his presence made me uneasy.

I picked up the marker, deliberately avoiding eye contact with Professor Kim, and began solving the problem without hesitation. As I completed the entire question, I glanced over at him. To my surprise, his expression was a mix of pride and astonishment. He met my gaze, a small smile forming on his lips as he took a step closer, causing me to instinctively gulp.

"I didn't think you'd manage to solve this,
Y/N, given your recent performance in class," he remarked in a husky, almost whisper-like voice, gently bringing up my past struggles. His words made me feel embarrassed, prompting me to lower my head in response.
He chuckled softly. "Don't feel embarrassed, Y/N. I believe you'll return to your previous form and continue to improve," he said reassuringly, placing a comforting hand on my shoulder. His touch made me momentarily tense up. I nodded in acknowledgment and returned to my seat, aware of his lingering gaze upon me.

After an hour of focused study, the class concluded. It was the final session of the day, prompting everyone to start gathering their belongings.

"Y/N, stay behind," Professor Kim's voice echoed as the last student exited the classroom. Confusion furrowed my brow. Why did he want me to stay? Was it about the assignment again? I silently prayed it wasn't.
Once alone, he approached my desk, towering over me. I lifted my head slightly, meeting his gaze. His hand rested on the desk beside me, subtly cornering me.

"Yes, sir?" I asked tentatively, my voice betraying a hint of nervousness.

"I need the assignment by tomorrow, understood? And I was impressed with how you tackled the questions today," he said calmly. I nodded nervously, feeling his gaze intensify as I glanced up.

"Are you nervous?" he inquired softly, causing my anxiety to heighten.
"N-no, I'm not," I replied, my voice wavering. Mentally chiding myself for stuttering, I attempted to regain composure.
He nodded, his expression serious. "So, who's that guy?" he asked abruptly. I furrowed my brow in confusion. "Which guy?" I queried.

"That guy earlier, Wooyoung or whatever his name was," he clarified, his tone conveying undeniable seriousness.
"Just a childhood friend," I explained calmly, "he recently enrolled here and wanted to catch up." He nodded in understanding, straightening up and gesturing for me to leave.
I acknowledged with a nod and a faint smile, then turned and walked away.
