Chapter 19

~ 3rd Person POV ~

Jungkook woke up with a pounding headache from crying all night in the guest bedroom. He tried not to think about last night as it hurt his feelings

Taehyung had never ignored or yelled at him like that before. The last time Taehyung ever yelled at him was maybe seven months ago and it was just a petty argument

On the other hand, Jungkook had gotten a message from one of the jobs to applied to earlier. The manager of the shore probably only hired him because he was the boyfriend of the well known Kim Taehyung but he didn't care, the money is good so he didn't care

The place he was going to be working at was a place where you'd groom and take care of dogs. Jungkook was the ultimate animal lover. He didn't have a problem work with animals

Taehyung told him not to get a job, with Taehyung being as stressed as he is, he doesn't want to be at the house and he doesn't want to get yelled at

He got out of bed and walked to the closet. He grabbed a pair of jeans and a red shirt. He grabbed his phone and towels before going to go take a quick shower

It was currently 9:25 in the morning and he didn't have to be there until 10:45

He took a shower and fixed himself put before embracing himself to face Taehyung. He was hoping that Taehyung was still sleeping so that he could leave the house quietly with no interruptions

He walked downstairs to see Taehyung sitting on the couch on his phone. Jungkook walked into the kitchen to grab his wallet then walked into the living room

" Hey-"

" Where are my car keys?" Jungkook said as he grabbed his jacket and put it on. Taehyung titled his head and looked at him confusingly. Taehyung grabbed his keys from the coffee table and got up from the couch

" Where are you going?" Taehyung asked as Jungkook tried to grab his keys, Taehyung immediately pulled his hand back, preventing him from getting them

" I'm going to my new job, I was hired this morning," Jungkook said with a smirk on his face. Taehyung's face dropped when Jungkook said that he had gotten a job

" What? Why the hell did you get one?" Taehyung asked

" Since when do you care?" Jungkook asked as he put on his shoes. Taehyung immediately grabbed his hand as his boyfriend was about to walk out of the house

" I told you not to get a job, you don't need one " Taehyung said, getting angry that his boyfriend bluntly didn't listen to him and he told him not to get a job

" You know, I rather not stay in this house slaving over a stove for you each day of the week. I wanted a job so I got one, have fun at work " Jungkook said as he grabbed his keys from Taehyung's hand

He walked out of the house and to his car. He got in and didn't even look back at Taehyung who was looking at him with a surprised look on his face. He drives away from the house, sighing a little

Jungkook didn't care that Taehyung was upset that he had gotten a job. He wanted one so he got one

Before he arrived at the building, he had grabbed a quick cup of coffee and drank it on the way to the building. He smiled because it was designed so lovely and had so many decorations

"Pups Que" was the name of the place

He got out of the car and walked up the building. The sigh read OPEN so he opened the door where he was immediately greeted by an older woman with black hair

" Hi Jungkook!" the manager said with a big smile on her face. Jungkook took her hand and bowed at her. " Hello, thank you for the job, I appreciate it, " Jungkook said with a graceful smile on his face

" You're very much welcome! I have to sadly get going so I won't be able to show you around but, my assistant will show you around " She said as she mentioned him to follow her

They walked down the hall until Jungkook saw a room filled with dogs and puppies. His heart almost exploded out of his chest

"These are the dogs that you will be grooming, I know it seems like you'll be doing a lot but trust me! You'll only really have ten dogs a day " She said and Jungkook nodded his head and walked to where you wash the dogs

" My assistant manager will be here soon so, just wait for a little. He shouldn't be long. I hope you enjoy it here " She said as he walked out of the room

Jungkook look around, glancing at the puppies each chance he got

" Jungkook?" a voice said from behind him, he turned around to see Jonah, Hyebin's assistant

" You work here?" Jungkook said they both smiled at each other

" Yes actually, Hyebin said that I didn't need to come in today so, I was just helping my mom," Jonah said as he grabbed one of the puppies and placed him on the counter

" I'll show you how to properly groom a puppy, they are pretty wiggly when it comes to grooming or washing them so just bare with them a little " Jonah said with a bright smile on his face

" So, are you in school? " Jonah asked as he started to get the puppy wet, smiling once at the dog

" I'm in college actually, " Jungkook said as he petted the puppy's head. The white puppy licking his hand as he smiled and rubbed his cheeks

" Oh really? So am I!" Jonah said with a smile on his face. Jungkook was happy that he finally found someone other than Jimin who was in college.

" I'm sorry, I didn't mean to do that " Jonah said with a smirk on his face. Jungkook looked at his wet torso and he grabbed the sprayer

" You are so going to regret that," Jungkook said as he purposely sprayed the water on Jonah's arms. They both went back and forth, almost forgetting about the medium-sized puppy in front of them

Jungkook smiled a little, it was extremely nice to make a new friend and get his mind off of all of the drama that was going on at home
