Chapter Five

After a while the team gave the station the profile of the killer and they received another call about a dead body who was identified as a bully named Evan Jones, he was also one of the people who tried to date Emma at one point. A letter showed up at the station an hour later, reading it was meant to be that Emma and him were meant to meet again to be together while Emma went inside her uncle's office trying to calm herself down.

Reid walked into the office and saw Emma sitting down on the couch. "Hey are you ok?" He asked. "Emma, look at me" He sat next to her making her face him. "I swear on my life I will not let anything happen to you."

Emma moves her face away from Reid's hands. "Reid, why are you doing this? Why are you being so weird? You are freaking me out with you being like this. I don't need you caring about me, I need Reid the profiler. Then afterward we can talk about what happened that night at my apartment."

Reid went to answer her but once again he gets interrupted by JJ. "We are going to hand the media the profile. Hotch think it would be a good idea if you are there Emma it could trigger a reaction"

Emma nods and stands up. "Lets go"

"The man we are looking for is in his early to mid twenties, he doesn't have a job where he would have to socialize, he might even be someone who is always in the background. He is a loner who keeps to himself. As of now we are unsure as to whom is behind the attack and murder. If you have any information about this man please call our tip line, he is also a high school dropout who couldn't take the pain of being bullied every day. Please call the tip line down below" JJ said to the cameras. "That's all I have for today"

Emma moved with JJ before a reporter called out to her. "Emma Matson, is it true he is doing this to get your attention?"

Emma turn around and faces the crowd. "He certainly have it and if he wants to meet he know where to find me but until then I will hunt for him" she said. "He will be brought to justice, Thank you."

Everyone was waiting by the phone, Emma had made sure her cousin, her cousin husband, and her parents was in a safe location also known as the station they were in. They were waiting for the phone to ring hoping the unsub will call in.

"Emma you need to eat something." Maya, Emma best friend and cousin said trying to make Emma eat something that was not just coffee. "Auntie Jen can you force your daughter to eat please?" She said to her aunt.

"Maya, leave your cousin alone. She is working and doesn't need you forcing food down her  throat." Thomas said to Maya. "I am serious go to your husband and let us focus" 

Emma chuckles shaking her head. "Maya I love you but Thomas is right, I need to focus and you need to be sitting with Jackson before he gets jealous." Emma said before receiving a glare from Wendell. "Don't be a hater!"

"I am not hating I am annoyed that I have to be in the same room as you Matson." Wendell said.

"You married my cousin get over it. Its nice to see you are still more annoying then Reid." Emma said but before she could say more, one of the phone rings making everyone freezes up.

Jason answered the phone. "This is Jason Gideon who is this?" He asked having the phone on speaker for everyone to hear. "Hello?"

"I want to speak to Emma." A deep male voice said. "I will only speak to her."

"Sorry she is out can I take a message?" Gideon said making Emma smile shaking her head. Gideon was someone she will always look up too but at this moment She respected him more than anymore than normal.

"I know she is there Agent Gideon you and Agent Rossi took her away from me. Why do you keep her from me?" The male voice said. "Just like O'Reilly he couldn't keep her happy like I can."

Emma didn't look fazed by this guy, she had seen worse than this guy.

"Is that so?" Jason questioned.  "Was there a reason you believe that Emma was forced by us to leave you?"

"What is he doing?" Maya asked softy to her cousin feeling confused.

"He is playing into his fantasy sorry but if he hear her talk there could cause problem." Reid inform Maya  which Emma nodded. "We should stop talking just in case."

"You made her leave me give her back to me and no one else will get hurt." The man said. "I know she is there, I see her there. Doctor Spencer Reid just spoke to her cousin who is sitting next to her." The man voice spoke. "Keeping her away from me and I will kill someone now put her on the phone."

Jason looked over at Emma who nodded, he allow her to take over. "You seem to know a lot about me but I know nothing of you other than you know me when we were growing up."

The man sigh. "Emma Matson how amazing it is to hear your voice again. I can wait for you to be with me again, this time I will protect you from them all."

"Protect me? Like I protect you?" Emma asked.

"Yes, you do remember me. I could have stop you and O'Reilly from being together, I remember you smelled like Strawberry when I sat behind you in math our freshman years."

Emma eyes widen and looked at Chris seeing he had the same look of shock on his face. "Teddy Michael its you?" She asked and the phone hung up. "I remember now."
