The next day

Megumi and Hisae ended up staying at Hisae's private house yesterday. As it was really late at night and they didn't have enough gas

Today after work,Hisae and Megumi met up in a private place, Sae's house to be exact to discuss more about their plan

Hisae's dad was already out for his work and she took a day off to sort everything out. To plan everything

"Sae, you should've taken the check!"

Megumi gently scolded his best friend

To which she rolled her eyes

"Megs, sweets, honey, darling, I don't need your money. This isn't a court case and I ain't your attorney. I'm your bestie, I'm doing this for you..."

He rolled his eyes but did smile fondly at her

He was just so glad to have her in his life. She was always so supportive and sweet about everything that had him. He'll always be grateful to whatever that is high above for her and Yuji

"Where is he? Shouldn't he be here by now?"

Hisae asked looking at her watch

Megumi hummed

"You know that dude, he's always late at practically everything "

"Pfff- can't argue with that!"

She said with a snort

They were talking about one of their good friends, Okkostu Yuta. They had invited him to help him with some things

After Hisae and Yuji, he was probably the one Megumi was the most close to as they knew each other for a long time. Megumi trusted the guy. Though a play boy in some cases, the guy was reliable

They got closer as he was Gojo's cousin. He babysat him and Tsumiki, his step sister a lot. Though he isn't that much older than them. He's only 3 years older but a responsible one

So when Hisae told Megumi that they might need at least one person to help them just in case something went out of hand, Megumi couldn't think of a better person than Yuta

After about five minutes, there was a knock on Hisae's door

"I'll go get it"

Megumi said as he went out

When he opened the door, there he was with his girlfriend Rika

The young girl smiled at Megumi

"Hey, Megumi-chan! Thank you for inviting us!"

She said enthusiastically

He smiled

This girl was nice. Probably the best Yuta had. He was such a big playboy before Rika came in the picture. Now he follows her around like lost puppy

It was so obvious they loved each other

The most funny thing was they rarely were alone

Plus he did believe Rika could help. Because after the sweet, bubbly and loving girl, Rika was known to be petty as fuck

The first time she came to know how he was getting mistreated in his own home, she ripped Toji a new one. From that time, Toji didn't like her, because she always spoke the truth. She always raised a finger and showed him directly where he was going wrong with raising Megumi

"Sorry Rika-chan wanted Starbucks... So we are late. But don't worry, I got our stuff"

Yuta said as he showed Megumi a 12 pack of beer
