marjorie came into the nursery opening it as she's always the first one there and she sits at her desk before beginning to do some work.

"hm?- oh good morning autumn."  Marjorie said seeing autumn coming in.

"it's not ever a good morning." she said back, classic for autumn.

"never is for you is it?" Marjorie said jokingly seeing autumn smirk a bit.

*ring ring*

"oh-.. it's only 7:34 who's calling now.." Marjorie said answering the phone

"hello the nursery, how may I help?"

"hey.. um.. *sniff* marjorie it's Charlotte.. I..um.. might be late today.." Charlotte said she sounded like she was crying.

"oh god, everything okay char?" marjorie said looking at autumn who was facing her with her usual rbf which now had a look on confusion with it.

"..my.. uh.. *sniff* husban-... Daniel.. *sniff* cheated on me.." she said back still obviously upset.

marjorie covered her mouth straight away she looked so shocked even autumn looked kind of worried.

"take as much time as you need char and how about we discuss this in my office the manager records all calls.. not a discussion he needs to hear.. hope your okay." marjorie said as her and Charlotte say goodbye and she puts the phone down.

"not one to ask but what happened?" autumn said looking kind of worried which was nice.

"you know daniel?" marjorie asked.

"oh charlottes husband.. yes." autumn said back.

"he cheated on her so she divorced him and now I don't know what's going to happen." marjorie said feeling so sorry for Charlotte.

"what a cu-." autumn said getting cut off by the door opening.

it was mia standing there looking quite self absorbed per usual.

"hello satan." autumn said making marjorie laugh.

"hello autumn." mia said she wasn't acting as bitchy as usual did.

"oh.. everyone's acting weird today aren't they?" marjorie said shocked at how calm and sort of nice Mia was being.

"im not acting weird I'm just giving you a note from a parent who Carly did handovers with.. she caught me in the car park." Mia said handing autumn the note before leaving.

"I'm never the one to say this but is everyone okay today Carly didn't come by to tell us she was in and it's only 7:59 Thomas can't be here yet unless his mum dropped him early.." autumn said she was never the one to point it out she usually waited until someone else did then she added little details on.

"that's so rig-." marjorie said getting cut off by Charlotte knocking on the door.

"hello.." she said she didn't sound okay well who would if you just got cheated on by your husband who you had your kids with?

"oh god come here! tell us everything.. trust me if someone doesn't sort him out I know someone in this room who will." marjorie said before turning the in a meeting sign on the door and shutting it.

"..hah.. thank you.. and uh.. I came in from work last night and he was there with my sister.. she's always been favourited over me but daniel always told me he never saw it.. well clearly he did." Charlotte said making Marjorie's jaw drop.

"he needs humbling no offence but he's not even good looking what a bitch you can do so much better." autumn said she was annoyed but when wasn't she.

"god don't know what I'd do without you guys honestly." Charlotte said she seemed a lot happier now maybe because autumn gave her a reality check on how her ex husband was a knob? probably.. she can do a lot better.

"maybe we should go out for drinks this weekend?" Marjorie asked she always loves a good drink.

"sounds nice. autumn are you up for it?" Charlotte asked

"I might be busy.." autumn said she sounded like she was thinking.

"oh anyways back on the subject what are you going to do about daniel?" Marjorie asked not trying to be a mood killer by bringing his name up but also genuinely curious.

"don't stress it he'll be under us shortly." autumn said smirking as she turned back to her computer.

"under..us?- autumn do not bury him!" marjorie said realising what she meant.

"I'm free this weekend." autumn said after Marjorie shut her plan down.

"oh god autumn what was your last job I need to check your paperwork.." she said back looking through a folder.

"you don't actually think I was honest on my paperwork did you?" autumn said as Marjorie made a "oh!" face more like this (😧)
