it was about 3 months after her divorce she was much happier in herself and she knew one day one certain girl would find out about it and today was that day.

"hey sweetheart..~"

Charlotte didn't even need to turn around.
"Mia." she said before turning around facing the other woman.

"I've let sam sit down for a bit he's been sick and I need you to write an incident form... now-.. oh?" mia said looking at charlottes hand.

"that's good to hear for once I'm glad you've loosened up its a good look for you and what?" Charlotte said back not realising how it sounded like she was flirting.

"where your wedding ring?" mia asked smirking as if she already knew but she didn't. she was just waiting to get a chance with Charlotte.

"I got a divorce." Charlotte said shrugging obviously it hurt but what could she do.. she was alone struggling with her two kids that her ex husband doesn't want anything to do with.

"oh? why's that sweetheart realised I'm better?" she said in her usual tone towards Charlotte and coincidentally marjorie was close by and happened to hear the whole conversation.

"don't flatter yourself mia.. he cheated." she said before turning back around grabbing an incident form for the child who threw up.

"wow.. see I told you I'm better aren't I sweetheart..~" mia said in a flirty tone before she went back out into the garden where the other children were.

"what in the love island was that?!" Marjorie said startling Charlotte a bit.

"I told you before she always does it." Charlotte said laughing a bit.

"she's like all the single mums when your brother came to give us flyers..just constantly flirting." she said

"oh don't remind me.." Charlotte said chuckling a bit.

"anyways I'm off to be honest I was just nosying see you around char." marjorie said going back into her office.

"yeah bye!" Charlotte said back and as soon as she finished and signed the incident form she looked as the clock to see it was lunch as all the kids coming back in so she grabbed some of the lunch boxes from the kitchen and put them out for the children. Charlotte stopped for a second and looked to where mia was with the children as she wasn't just mean or rude to them or not caring she was laughing and making sure they all got in fine.. something wasn't right but it made Charlotte flush up a bit.

"yes hannah that's what a spider looks like-.. no hannah you can't eat them.." mia said chuckling a bit before looking up and seeing Charlotte.

"o..oh sorry I was just-.. getting lunches.." Charlotte said noticing she was staring.

"obsessed aren't you sweetheart..~" mia said as she got all the children onto the tables and eating.. Mia didn't seem to go get her lunch yet so she stayed and looked after the kids whilst Charlotte went into the staff room to eat.

"oh hey carly-.." Charlotte said seeing her sat at a table in the staff room.

"hey char anymore tea?!" she said she loved hearing all the gossip as a 17 year old does.

"actually.. I think so... um.. it's about mia." Charlotte said wincing knowing Carly was going to throw a bunch of "I knew it!" and "I told you so" at her.

"wait.. what did she do?" Carly asked pretty calmly.

"well.. hm.. she's changed a lot I don't know.. I found myself staring at her before when she was walking the children in and she was so kind and gentle with them.. I don't know I guess I thought for a minute-.. nevermind.." Charlotte said not being able to get the last words out.. little did she know mia was outside the staff room about to get her lunch and come back down as marjorie was looking over the children but she stopped hearing her name and just listened.

"soo.. you like mia?!" Carly asked not so calmly or quietly anymore.

"..like?.. I mean.. I.. think so... I don't know...she's changed a lot she's a lot nicer to everyone she came to me to tell me how she let Samuel sit down as he threw up and how I needed to write an incident report and she never would of done that a few months ago.. she's a lot better as a person.. but I don't know if it's real..it seems so genuine I.." Charlotte said stopping realising carly was gobsmacked and how she was rambling.

"sorry I'm rambling hah- that's a lot for a 17 year old to  hear at once sorry carl-." she said getting cut off by another voice form behind her which could of been the reason Carly was gobsmacked.

"is that so sweetheart? I'm flattered." mia said leaning over the back of charlottes chair.

"ah!- m..mia you can't sneak up on people like that-!" Charlotte said before looking at carly who was raising her eyes brows in a teasing way as Charlotte was going red at the fact mia heard her whole rant.

"don't be embarrassed sweetheart im not complaining." mia said winking at Charlotte before getting her lunch before leaving the staff room.

"ohmygod ohmygod ohmygod!!" Charlotte yelped going bright red at what happened.

"she totally wants to be with you!!" carly said excitedly.

"carly I need you to NEVER mention this outside the staff room!!" Charlotte said trying to pull herself together.

"oh my mouth is sealed!- you got to update me though!!" she said back waiting for the next chat to be about them together. I mean she's a 17 year old she doesn't have a limit she says what she thinks.

"I will I will but.. I don't know what I'm going to do I have to go back down soon.. it's going to be awkward!" Charlotte said just imagining the whole thing in her head.

"guess your just going to have to wing it you have another 3 hours char and I'll be there!" carly said smiling she was always there to listen to tea and gossip but she was genuinely a pure soul in the nursery she was friendly to everyone.
