I got ready for therapy it was currently 5:00 at night. My house was decorated. everything was going good.
I was a little skeptical about going to therapy because of what Tay told me but I heard going to therapy helps you.
I was done getting dressed and doing my hair so I grabbed my purse and keys and made my way to my car .
Once I reached my car I connected my phone with the aux and played throw away by future. I loved that song it matched my situation.

I knocked on the therapist door I was a little scared. The door read mr Daniel on it . I read good reviews from him so I decided to go with this one .
The door opened and my eyes widened he was tall and darskin with dreads . He looked amazing.he just stared at me with a blank expression.
I gave him a smile and said " hi , I'm Miyah "
" wassup , I'm dr Daniel ." He said shaking my hand .
I walked inside his office it was dark everything was black which I liked.
"You like the room setting ? I looked at the files they sent for you and I heard you like black ."dr Daniel said as he sat in front of me
"Yes I love it ."I said giving him a smile.
"Okay so first tell me about yourself , I like to Connect with my clients before we get into the session."dr Daniel said staring in my soul.
" okay I'm Miyah I'm 21 my birthday is February 22nd I am very antisocial at sometimes i moved to Atlanta for a fresh start ." I said as I played with my fingers something I did when I'm nervous.
" okay so I'm hearing you moved to Atlanta for a fresh start ? Why is that ?" Dr Daniel said pulling out his notebook.
" my ex boyfriend was living a double life and it hurted me so bad to the point I lost myself." I said looking down.

"you was so attached and depended on him for your happiness you couldn't find the happiness in your own and that's what we need to work on " Dr Daniel said making me nod .
" do you think moving here has better you ?" Dr Daniel said causing me to shake my head no .
" i have been doing great but it's sometimes I get in my feelings and think how my ex did me . I'm hurt because I was so blinded by love I couldn't see he didn't love me at all." I said with now tears in my eyes .
" you was so blinded by love you couldn't see his true colors . You was so blinded by love you depended on him to make you happy.you was so blinded by love you thought you needed him to happy ." Dr Daniel said making me nod .
" correct ." I said wiping my tears.
" let the tears fall they will be a lot of them more sessions we continued , we will stop from here see you next week Miyah ." Dr Daniel said making me nod .
" see you ."I said grabbing my purse and keys walking to my car.
I then walked to my car and sigh I'm loving therapy so far and loving the fine ass therapist.
