Intro

*WARNING: HUGE SPOILERS FOR THOSE WHO ARENT CAUGHT UP WITH THE MANGA*
This story begins in the middle of the battle between the paladins. Noelle swoops in to protect her family from Acier..

Noelle, while flying in her new dragon form: "Solid, get nozelle and be quick. I'm gonna need some help against her!"

"Okay, b-be careful!!" said solid in a shaky voice.

Noelle and Acier battle ferociously, and both are equally matched. Solid and Nozelle join in and try to turn the tables; however..

Acier charges up an attack only fast enough for noelle. Knowing noelle is the only one able to stop it, she directs it at solid...

Noelle, without hesitation, jumps in front of her brother...

"Oh my noelle.. u really do care for your family. Unfortunately, that's why u can't defeat me..." said acier.

"No- ur wrong!!" Shouts nozelle zooming towards her.

Acier nonchalantly blocks and counters him, stabbing him through his chest..

"Nozelle, sweetie.. please don't tell me you thought that would actually work.
My poor boy, always trying to be the hero. I'm proud of u sweetie, really I am, but for the future of this world, I'm sorry, u have to be defeated.

Blood gushes from his mouth as he falls to the ground. Noelle and solid watch as their brother is stabbed by their mother. Noelle, on the floor, drowns in despair but then shouts in a fiery rage..

"Ahhh!!!!" "Get up!" She says to herself
"Get up!! GET UP GODDAMMIT! " she can't even lift herself up.
"No, not now.. I've come too far to give up.." she looks for any strength left in her, any hope still there, but nothing...
Until...
"asta..." she whispers, tears falling
"Oh, asta, I wish u were here. U would give me the strength I need... I didn't even confess--" tears overwhelm her as she cries on the floor..

"Noelle, my dear, don't cry, this is for the best. I'm proud of u regardless, sweetie." Acier lifts her sword and (with a tear falling from her eye) swings....

Noelle looks up only to see her mother frozen..
