To think, everything I knew about myself except the love for piano was all gone. My name is Aspen Maple Sparrow. Well that is written on my medical file. I only know and remember inside of the walls of the hospital. Any events that lead up to how I ended up in the hospital all cut to a blank. All I remember is waking up in a hospital bed one day and the love for piano. The doctors seemed to have diagnosed me with amnesia. They kept a hold of my medical file, somehow they knew me. Currently what I have read on my medical file is that I'm 17 years old, born on October 6th. The doctors did say I have a health condition that causes me to have a loss of appetite. I just stayed sitting on the hospital bed looking out of the window in my room. I was looking out the window for a good five minutes until I heard footsteps followed by the voice of one of the doctors that have been treating me. They entered the room with a small smile and took a seat next to my bed. The doctor, whose ID I read is named Felix Williams or Dr. Felix was holding a backpack with some stuff and my medical file. Dr Felix did say he had some good news for me as he was entering my room. Dr Felix said to me in a cheery tone "Aspen, today you are being discharged from the hospital." I was kinda happy about the fact of me being discharged from the hospital but then at the same time I was a bit confused. I don't remember who my family is or where I even live. So I asked Dr. Felix "Where would I even go, I don't remember where I live." Dr. Felix then replied back with his cheery tone "You don't have to worry about that for we have an apprentice who is in training will escort you to your new home. Well, your new home until your memories come back." Dr. Felix then handed me the bag and my medical file. Dr. Felix then explained that the bag contains stuff I might need such as money, a notebook, an ID card, the medicine that I was prescribed with, clothes, etc. Then I tried to understand the purpose of the medical file. Dr. Felix then explained that I need the medical file just in case I ended up in the hospital and so the doctors who are treating me know about my situation. Dr. Felix then got up from his chair and left my room, closing the door behind him. I got off of the hospital bed and I looked at the side table. There on the side table was a long-sleeved beige shirt, a deep burgundy skirt, some black leggings, and some white sneakers all stacked nicely on top of each other with a small note card reading "A gift from all of us that have taken care of you, make sure you change out of your hospital gown ~ The Docs" I got changed into the clothes that they had gifted me and I put my medical file in the bag. After I put the medical file in my bag I grabbed the hospital gown and I left my room. I walked to the lobby and Dr. Felix, who was talking to a girl younger than him but is older than me, took the hospital gown from me. Dr. Felix then introduced the girl, Esme, saying that she is the apprentice escorting me to my new home. Esme then said that we should get going due to the possibility of rain and she led the way. Esme was a bit fast, so I had tried to keep up with her. Eventually we were at a crosswalk. When the walking signal went off Esme went ahead and I got lost in the crowd. Soon the crowd started clearing up and I didn't notice that the countdown for the crosswalk was up. Meaning that I was standing in the middle of the road. I heard a car speeding its way towards me followed by some honking. Just as I was about to get hit, a person had lunged at me, causing us to tumble on the other side of the crosswalk. The car drove swiftly and I was not hurt. I looked up to see a girl with beautiful emerald eyes and short curled blonde hair looking at me. The girl said to me in a sweet tone "Are you okay? Are you hurt? Don't stand in the middle of the road next time. Please respond to me."
