Alma Graude, a young entrepreneur who graduated from MIT less than a year ago, was among the passing visitors who silently marveled at the 2-meter-high Venus de Milo, a longstanding fixture of the Louvre in France. As usual, the statue stands quietly in the center of the exhibition hall, gazing at the busy crowds with her gentle expression.
What a flawless bodyline! ! This is the epiphany of perfection for science and engineering majors like him who have graduated from biological engineering departments.
"I wonder whether a real woman ever looked like this. If this is the case, then only she can be worthy of someone who possesses a singular brilliance and serves as the ruler of the new world like me."
Gods forbid the study of biology and genetic engineering, yet he wishes to explore these fields even though he might anger certain other deities.
The young entrepreneur secretly swore to this goddess
So that night, he was awakened by a golden light, and he saw something he wasn't sure could be seen by anyone else or by himself: a beautiful woman levitated in the air with a golden light that appeared in front of him.
"Are you...Aphrodite, the goddess of love and beauty?"
The goddess did not introduce herself, but he could identify her immediately due to his intuition, which he had established through his memory of admiring the statue.
The young entrepreneur wasn't sure whether he was dreaming or what he saw was real, but it didn't matter because the goddess's beauty was so breathtaking that everything he had ever seen would fade in comparison before her.
"If this is a dream, I sincerely hope I never wake up. Even if I would lose all of my wealth and never have sex with mortal women ever after in my life, it would still be worth it if I could only spend one night with the goddess."
Though all he could do was fan the air, he couldn't resist reaching out to the golden goddess.
"You foolish and arrogant thing, since you defy God's forbidden and disregard love, I'll curse you to be forever obsessed with the beauty of illusory sculptures and unable to enjoy the pleasure of sex with real women."
The goddess raised her hand and vanished into the dazzling light.
The young businessman was unable to feel sexual attraction for women after that, yet his company continued to expand. His recently constructed villa was enormous and exquisite, featuring a massive fountain at the heart of the garden and yard where he had a reproduction of Aphrodite de Milo in the middle of the pool, along with other statues dotted around the property.
Everything in his life seemed to be going well, except that he had no children.
While researching and developing biotechnology, he hired psychics and astrologers at all costs.
One day, an exceptionally gifted clairvoyant informed him, "You will fulfill your dreams and aspirations when you are close to 60, but you will have to travel to Greece."
So the entrepreneur, who was over fifty years old, came to Greece as promised. Following the psychic's revelation, he stumbled into a place full of ruins of ancient Greek buildings and saw a young man covered in blood cradling a baby with gray eyes.
He adopted the baby girl, whom the young man had left him with commendations for his care.
The girl gradually grew up and appeared to have innate supernatural abilities and an incredible IQ. She was able to pray for favors while remote viewing.
The over-50-year-old entrepreneur successfully produced 99 offspring in the laboratory with her assistance.
The last child arrived aboard a ship from Siberia.
Given the child's stunning resemblance to his mother, her rather politically sensitive identity, and the busy port, the elderly businessman was forced to play it safe and allow his noble wife to welcome their 100th child.
However, the child did not know that she was his stepmother and that her last name was Rothschild.
"Sure enough, you are just as good-looking as your mother."
Mrs. Graude caressed the boy's face and proclaimed:
"You are one of our 100 sons, and you are not the last born but the last to come to us. It's just that you are not as hideous as the fabled hundredth son ."
"fabled hundredth son?"
The little blond boy asked skeptically.
"That's correct, King Wen of Zhou was a historical figure who lived in an ancient eastern kingdom. Our plan for Hundred Sons' 'Prometheus Project' aims to emulate him and rebuild the world after the old system is destroyed! Our hundred sons' souls will ascend to heaven and establish a new kingdom for us even if they die! And you are the hundredth one ------— even though you resemble an angel rather than the fabled final son, who has a monstrous appearance."
the young child didn't fully comprehend what she was saying, but he started to see less and less of the woman and the man he should be calling his father. He also felt that the old man was two-faced in how he treated him in public and private, which made him not feel the warmth of any home at all, so when the old businessman banished him to an orphanage after only glancing at him, the poor kid thought it might not be a bad thing to place him with other unfamiliar half-brothers, even though he had little chance of getting to know them.
The only thing he missed was the statue in the middle of the manor garden that reminded him of his mother.
"Whatever the New World and the Prometheus Project are, they have nothing to do with me! All I want is to see my mom!"
