Hyunsuk looked at his phone. It has been 5 days. 5 days since the last time he ever saw Jihoon. And it has been 5 days since he ever received any text or call from the younger Alpha. And he is super annoyed. 5 days ago, on the last day they met, Hyunsuk woke up alone on his bed. Jihoon is nowhere to be found. There's no note or messages left by the Alpha. And after that, he didn't receive any call or text from Jihoon. From what Hyunsuk heard, the company that manages Jihoon's group has geared up for the group's comeback as soon as the scandal has been cleared.

At first, Hyunsuk decided to just let Jihoon be. Giving the Alpha a little space and time. He's so sure that Jihoon will definitely send him text messages or call him. Or he might just suddenly appear at his door or his studio. Hyunsuk just let Jihoon finish his jobs and come and see him someday. But it has been 5 days without any words from the Alpha. It really makes Hyunsuk irritated. Hyunsuk looked at his phone. Most of the time, he’s typing messages on the chatting application to send to Jihoon. But none of the messages have been sent to Jihoon. He ended up just erasing it all. Some of the time, he's almost calling Jihoon but pressed the red icon before the call ever got connected.

Hyunsuk didn't even know why he did that. Did he want Jihoon to reach him out first like he always did? Was he really going to let the younger Alpha come to him just because Jihoon said that he will always wait for him? But when will Jihoon wait? Will he always wait? Or will he ever get tired of him? Did he already get tired of him? Should he just wait for Jihoon to come to him like always?

“I heard that you got yourself a good Alpha,” Hongjoong’s words bring him back to reality. He's too lost in his own thoughts.

“Huh?”

“I heard it. That you got yourself a good Alpha. You finally let someone take care of you, huh?” Hongjoong said.

“What? No. Who said that? Where did you hear it from, huh? You believe rumors too easily,” Hyunsuk said.

“I don't think it's just a mere rumor. You finally find someone that you can lean on to. You finally find someone that you are comfortable to be around with. And that person seems to have taken care of you quite well. I’m glad that you met that Alpha before this mess happened. If not, I’m not sure if I can ever help you as much as your Alpha did,” Hongjoong said.

“You're so confident that I found an Alpha. You're just making stories up,” Hyunsuk said.

“You've been using the strong suppressant for years. Concealing your pheromones. You didn't let people look down on you because you're an Omega. You are indeed one of the most independent and strong Omega I’ve ever met. That's probably why you had a hard time to find the best Alpha that would accept you the way you are,” Hongjoong said. “But, even though you've been doing that, this one Alpha still wants to get to know you. Not like those Alphas who suddenly turned off just because they feel like you're too independent,”

“Don't you think you’ve been reading too many romance stories or something?” Hyunsuk asked.

“You seem more relaxed now, Choi Hyunsuk. Whoever that Alpha is, you're so lucky that you met him. And I’m really grateful for him finally managing to make you want to lean on someone,” Hongjoong said. “Introduce me to that Alpha someday. Even though I’ve already had a guess in my mind. I would appreciate it if you would formally introduce me to your Alpha,”

“He's not my Alpha,” Hyunsuk said.

“Yet,” Hongjoong said. “But I’m pretty sure that you have been claiming him as yours for a long time already without you even realized,”

“I’m not,”

“Yeah. Yeah. Sure,” Hongjoong said. “I’ll go first. See you later,”

“Bye,” Hyunsuk said. Hyunsuk called Dongwoo after Hongjoong left. Dongwoo told him that he’ll pick him up after he’s done.
