Christina's POV:Ive never tried drinking or smoking before, so this whole experience was completely new to me. And let's just say, that liquor hit me hard. One second I was enjoying myself on the dance floor, and the next I was hunched over a bush letting out everything I had eaten. Left eye was there for me throughout the night, unfazed by it all. I met many people new there, it was so dope!
We downed shot after shot, twerked on some fine college boys, sang, laughed, ate, napped, and kept the party going. Before I realized it, it was already 2 a.m., but the party was still going strong.Lisa: Chris, we gotta go girl! (Yelling over the music)
I could hardly open my eyes as I layed on the couch drunk as ever.
Lisa: (shoving me gently) Get up, Chris. We have to go; your grandma keeps calling.
Christina: Huh? (Trying to open my eyes but failed)
Lisa: Your grandmother keeps calling you... Lord!
Left Eye picked me up by my arms then wrapped my arms around her so we could walk to the car.
Christina: I'm sorry ( I said crying)
I couldn't walk for anything; I kept losing my balance, and I felt sick again.
Lisa: (rolling her eyes) Come on..
She sat me in the passenger seat, then got into the driver seat. I fell asleep so quickly I slept the whole ride as she rushed me back to her house.
Karen POV:
My heart started pounding as I phoned my sister Doe. She instructed me to pick her up, and that's exactly what I did. Dorinda checked if Christina had posted anything on Instagram, but she hadn't. Determined to leave no stone unturned, Doe tirelessly dialed Christina's number again and again, hoping for an answer, but there was none. As time passed, our minds continued to race with thoughts of what could have happened to Christina. Was she in danger? Had she been kidnapped? Or was she simply lost and unable to find her way back? The possibilities were endless, and each one sent shivers down our spines. We prayed together, and God directed us to return to her friend's house. When we arrived, we simply sat and waited for God to reveal our next steps.
Dorinda: She's okay, I can feel it. (Rubbing my back)
Karen: I understand, but this is exactly what happened to Faith. (Tears came to my eyes) I don't want her to turn out like her mother. Faith used to sneak out and lie about her whereabouts and there were many times when she almost lost her life. I don't want Christina walking in her footsteps.
Dorinda: Christina is young, you have to keep praying for her. She's not like her mother though Kare, that young girl is different. I promise you that.
It was now almost 4am and we were still praying and talking. Soon a gray car pulled in front of us, I couldn't see who it was because the windows were tented. They parked the car in front of the house and sat there for a little until the driver's door opened. As soon as it opened Christina's friend got out.
Karen: (tapping on Dorinda) Th-that's her friend!
The young girl walked over to the passenger door then opened it and picked up Christina. Dorinda and I hurried out of the car as we watched Christina stumble as they made their way to the front door.
Dorinda: Christina!
Christina: Auntie? (She struggled to say)
As Christina strained to keep her head straight, the young girl paused and looked at me.
Lisa: Mrs. Sheard.. I'm so sorry I-
Karen: What's wrong with her? (Rushing towards Christina)
Lisa: She had a couple of drinks and-and um..
Dorinda: What are you guys doing with alcohol? Where's your parents?
I quickly grabbed Christina from her friend as I held her close to my body to prevent her from falling. She smelled like reefa, alcohol, and vomit.
I was in disbelief at what was happening.Lisa: She had many, but I wasn't going to let anything happen to her miss.
Karen: If you were a true friend you wouldn't let THIS happen to her! What is wrong with you!! Anything could've happened! Where did y'all go?
Lisa: I-
Karen: Where?!!!!
The young girl looked down in shame then finally spoke..
Lisa: We went to a college party and got to carried away. I'm so sorry. (She pleaded)
I looked at the young girl as tears started to fall down my face
Karen: I was worried sick about my grandbaby. Do you have an idea of how I feel? How it feels to be sick and anxious, never knowing if she'll be found alive or not! ARE YOU UNDERSTANDING?
I was about to slap that little girl across the face until Dorinda intervened.
Dorinda: Take Christina to the car Kare.
I picked Christina up and put her into the backseat where she slept and then went into the driver seat while Doe and the young girl talked. She may be okay, but why would she lie to me? I couldn't help but cry! I began to pray, asking God to help me and give me the strength I need when I speak with her tomorrow.
After a few minutes later, the girl entered her house, and Doe entered the car.
I glanced back at Christina, who was sound asleep, before I left. Then I looked at the clothes and makeup she were wearing and as I was looking I seen something unusual.Karen: Doe..
Dorinda: mhm?
Karen: look.. (as I pointed to her belly)
Dorinda mouth dropped instantly as she looked in shock.
Dorinda: Did she always have that??
Karen: No, I- I can't believe this.
I turned back around to face the front trying to calm myself before driving.
Dorinda: Let me give her one good spanking, that'll for sure wake her up!
Karen: No, ima handle it.
After dropping Dorinda off, I returned home. I called J Drew as soon as we arrived so he could help me in getting her out.
J Drew came right away, lifted Christina onto his shoulders, and carried her to her room before putting her to bed. I stood at the door and watched her sleep once she was settled in and J. Drew went outside.
I continued to thank God that she was okay but then I started to get upset. She smiled in my face and lied to me. Oh she got something coming for her..️Should Karen go hard on Christina or soft?
(Mind you she snuck to a college party, wearing clothes that are super little, got a belly piercing, and she's drunker than ever)Did you enjoy this chapter????
