Inside the King's office.

"...I apologize your majesty, however I am still quite puzzled."

Cale Henituse said blinking a few times after hearing what the King had just told him. His nervousness of having to face to face with the King is replaced with disbelief.

'A counterpart? Another version of himself? What?'

All this technically does not make any sense at all however thinking about all the sh*ts he'd gone through his mind just led him to think that this is all normal.

"Just as Lord Henituse had heard, that person you had seen at the cave earlier was your counterpart." Alberu replies, observing Cale Henituse's puzzled reaction.

It was understandable as the heroes had discussed to each other on keeping a word about the summoning before they entered the cave. It was after all meant to be confidential. Alberu had also already heard the report from Choi Han about what happened in the cave, before calling the redhead here.

"At first we planned to summon the Commander's counterpart believing that it will become a huge advantage for us in this war. However, the result that came was something that no one had expected." Alberu's calmly said at Cale who keeps trying to scoot his seat to the side.

Alberu is indeed frustrated about the incident in the cave however, after hearing what Cale Henituse's counterpart's ability made him change his mind. He will plan to observe her first and make use of all her capabilities.

The King watched the Count in front of him who became silent and is making an unreadable expression. He can't tell what the other is thinking but  he's going to dismiss it for now as the other had to lot to take in. For now he just have to make the current Count of Henituse listen.

"Lord Henituse, having your counterpart stand on our side will surely be beneficial too, so I ask you Lord Henituse to have a word with your counterpart that you summoned and convince it to be on our side."

'Having Cale Henituse talk to his counterpart is a must so we can possibly turn her into our ally.' Weak or not an ability is still an ability, she can still be useful. He should think positively of this, anything that can be useful can be a big asset for them, he just need to use is it properly.

"The occurrence in the cave  may be something that no one had expected to happen. However, I suppose that Count Henituse's had already understood the gravity of that outcome." Alberu is not smiling anymore unlike from the past, but is he is illuding out the aura of a King who had made it through all those battles.

Gravity.

It was indeed a huge loss if ever the one they summoned is someone who will not even turn an eye to them. The king can't also blame the Count too much too as the whole operation in cave was a gamble for them.

Whatever the results, bad or good will still affect all of them.

"As such, Lord Henituse." Alberu sighs and before saying in a firm voice. "I will give a task, one that you must fulfill."

This is not only the Count's responsibility but his too.

"From now on, she will be your responsibility." Alberu then added. "Make your counterpart an ally of ours."

There was a short silence before the King hears an answer.

"Yes, your majesty." The redhead said, with his other hand on his chest.

The King smiles at that reply before nodding. "Good."

After that answer the King then stood up, and the other two people in the room also stood up.
