The fire raged fiercely throughout the entire area of the Gorge of Death, but it didn't spread any further. Instead, it remained still to certain areas.

Cale watched as Kim gave orders to the captain and the Wolf King. Kim maintained her stoic expression, but occasionally, a small change flickered across her face.

Despite the heat of the fire. That did not seem to bother her at all, instead she just focused on what's need to be done.

Her intelligence, her skills and ability.

Cale started wondering about their differences. Even though they may be the same person, as he had been told, Kim was his counterpart. But with each passing moment, Cale began to question if they were truly the same. Their characteristics were increasingly becoming more distinct with every interaction.

Was it because our worlds are different? Kim mentioned that her world had faced wars too. Did they live different lives or have different opportunities?

Cale isn't envious or anything, it was just...

He had thought that, if only he had taken a different path. Will things be different?

Will he not lose those important to him?

"—Cale."

Cale snapped out of his thoughts and turns to Kim who had called his name.

"Ah... I'm sorry." Cale tapped his cheeks with his hands to regain his senses. 'I should focus.'

"I already scouted the mages to their positions are you've instructed. The captain also went and guide the soldiers." Cale said, he then adds.

"They are all just waiting for your signal."

Kim nods and stared at Cale.

Footsteps was then heard as Lock stops next to Kim. Lock is instructed to stay next to Kim and Cale.

Lock wanted to ask Kim about Choi Han's situation but wasn't able to so. Instead he just observes Kim actions, for some reason it reminds him of his noona, Rosalyn.

Meanwhile, Kim felt a trickle on his forehead, not just because of the heat but also from Lock's gaze that seem to bore holes at him.

Lock was silent throughout the exchange of the plan, but he hand noticed how the others act around the wolf. Kim dismissed this and opened his mouth.

"Let's go."

.

.

Clopeh, who had landed his wyvern in one of their bases, glared at the fire.

"That d*mn bastard ruining the parts that I had planned!"

Clopeh cussed and brushed his white hair back, he let out a frustrated huff and turns to the soldiers that had just arrived next to him.

"Guardian Knight-nim! Our side took many damages due to the fire..." The soldier said grimly.

"Should we still continue the plan?" The soldier ask.

Clopeh coldly stared at the soldier who had flinched at his gaze.

"We will proceed." Clopeh stated.

The soldier nodded and instructed the others.

'I can't let this plan be wasted.'

The breck kingdom is one of the most cultivated land, it will be easier for them in terms of using the goods for their kingdoms benefit. Additionally, the well known archimage hero Rosalyn came from this kingdom, so there are also a lot of strong mages here.
