The next morning Sam was woken up by a whining pup. He looked down at the little one and rubbed his eyes.

"Sone de na champ" He ruffled his fur. The pup rolled over and exposed his belly for a quick rub. Sam obliged. The pup was in dog heaven.

"bhook lage hai tughe?" Sam smiled.

The pup looked up.

"Chal kuch kahtey hai. ek minute dey fresh hoke ata hoon" The pup nodded as if he understood every word, but when sam came back from the wash room the little one was no where to be found. He looked around the room, but he could not find him any where. He opened his mouth to call him but realized he was yet to name him.

Sam sighed and went down, looking for his pup. he was sure the little one must be starving. He had not fed him anything the night before. He did not know if he had actually eaten anything. As he made his way down the stairs the first thing he heard was the sound of laughter. He looked down and stopped dead in his tracks as he caught a glimpse of her in the living room. There she was, playing with his pup. The sunlight streamed through the French windows, refracted through the diamond earrings she wore making them sparkle. The joy in her laughter took his breath away.

Her gorgeous brown hair cascaded around her shoulders, framing her angelic face in waves of silk, that shimmered like gold in the sun light. Sam paused as his heart skipped a beat at the sight of her. Dressed in a simple tank top paired with grey jeans, she looked enchanting. A careless beauty who could make heads turn.

The pup saw him and raced for him. The girl looked up. Her hazel eyes were a sight to behold. Her lips curved into a dazzling smile as she waved her hand in greeting.

"You must be sam" Her voice was as melodious as her laughter. Samir felt a blush creep through his neck. He felt an instant connect to her, an attraction that he found too hard to deny.

She made her way to him and offered her hand in greeting, "Raavika Mehra, I am your bhabhi's younger sister. Glad to meet to Samir."

Her cheerful demeanor diminished his heart. He shook her hand with a smile.

"Bhabhi?"

"She is making breakfast. You must be starved, right? By the way, how are you feeling? Dad said you were fine."

"Dad?" Samrat frowned. He knew none of them

Raavi hit her forehead. "Ofcource you do not know! I am really dumb! Our dad is a doctor, the same doctor who treated you yesterday. He came to check on you in the morning too. I guess you were sleeping."

Samir nodded his head, he did not realize anyone had come to check on him.

"Tumhara puppy bohot cute hai" Raavi chirped, "what's his name?"
