It was a sunny morning in Liones and a beautiful prince was in the midst of waking up. Once he fully woke up, he rubbed his eyes and sighed, as he realized that he was laying next to his fiancé. It may seem weird that he sighed when he realized his fiancé, but it was because he wasn't too fond of her.

The prince got out of bed and made his way downstairs to get breakfast. As he was heading to the kitchen, he found his mother and father sitting down in the dining room table, waiting for the chef to finish cooking. "Good morning Tristan!" Elizabeth said when she saw her son. "Good morning mom and dad!" Replied Tristan. Tristan decided to grab a seat at the table and started to zone out. "What are you thinking about sweetie?" Asked Elizabeth. "Oh..nothing." Said the prince. But in reality, he was lying. He was actually thinking about this stupid arranged marriage he was in and couldn't wait to tear his parent's heads apart. Truth be told, he found his fiancé pretty, but just didn't think she was the fit for him. Ever since the declaration of a new Holy War, "royals" were being forced to wed, so if they die, they would have offspring to carry out their legacy. Tristan thought it was the dumbest idea in the world and never understood why his parents agreed to it. He thought that his parents must've gotten something in return if they agreed, but he never questioned what. He was snapped out of his thoughts when he smelt a beautiful aroma, it smelt of pancakes and bacon. Once the food was on the table, Tristan filled his plate and thanked the chef for a delicious meal. "How's Isolde?" Asked Meliodas. "She's alright." Answered Tristan, as he rolled his eyes. His dad knew that he wasn't fond of her, so Tristan had no idea why he still asks him about her.

Once breakfast was finished, Tristan headed to his room and saw that Isolde was still sleeping. He decided to wake her up, so that she could eat breakfast. He tapped her shoulder lightly and she started to stir. Once she was more awake, Isolde stretched her arms out and said: "Good morning my handsome prince." Tristan smiled and took a seat next to her on his bed. Isolde leaned in to give Tristan a kiss and he reluctantly complied. Tristan hated kissing her, it made him uncomfortable, but he only complies since he doesn't want to cause drama. Tristan informed Isolde that breakfast was ready, and that she should hurry before it gets cold. When Isolde left his room, the prince decided to get ready for the day.

When Tristan finished taking a shower, he put his long hair in a braid, put on his knight armour and left the palace to do some training. Ever since he found out he was marrying Isolde, he started to train more because, more training meant less time with Isolde. Every time he is around her, shes always talking about wedding arrangements or when they will start trying for kids. Honestly, it annoys him so much, they're only 18 and she's worrying about children. He would've never thought that at the age of 18 he would be "trying" for kids, all he wants to do is enjoy his teen life. Once Tristan made it to the training site, he saw his cousin; Chion training with his uncle; Gilthunder. "Hey Chion! Hi uncle Gil!" Said the prince, the two other men greeted Tristan and asked him if he wanted to train with them. Tristan agreed, as anything is better than hanging out with Isolde. Later on during the training session, Jade joins and asks Tristan how his wedding plans are doing. But, Tristan just tells him to shut up and no one asked why he doesn't want to talk about it. Once the training was over, Gilthunder left and allowed the boys to talk. The boys decided on going to the Boar Hat to get something to eat, since they were hungry from their intense training.

Just as soon as the boys walked into the Boar Hat, they saw Hower passed out and Meliodas cleaning beer mugs. Meliodas said hi to the boys and asked what they would like to eat. But, knowing Meliodas and his cooking skills, they respectfully declined the offer and chose to eat somewhere else. As they were walking around in Liones, they found a cute café named; The Firelight Café. Tristan thought it looked inviting, so Tristan, Chion and Jade walked in. Once they entered, they were surprised to see who owned it. The people owning the café were... Ban and Elaine. "Uncle Ban? Aunt Elaine?" Questioned a confused Tristan. "Since when did you guys own a café?" "We started to own a café since yesterday. I made a bet with the Captain." Replied Ban. "What type of bet?" Asked Chion. "Whoever has the least amount of sales this week has to ignore their wife, for a whole week~" All the boys eyes widened, since EVERYONE in all of Britania knew that Ban and Meliodas could never ignore their wife's for a second, let alone a whole 7 days. "Well, it looks like your winning. The Boar Hat is practically dead." Said Jade. Ban started laughing so loudly, that he almost created an earthquake. "With Cap'ns horrible cooking, no one would want to go there~" "BAN, that's not nice!" Scolded Elaine. "What, it's true~" "Sorry about him, I'll get you guys seated." Said Elaine smiling. She showed the boys where they would be sitting and gave them menus to look at. "There's too many options" Groaned Chion. "I know right? I will never be able to pick." Said Tristan. After around 10 minutes of looking at the menu, all 3 boys decided on what they would eat. Tristan chose the steak and potatoes, Chion chose the fried chicken and Jade chose the salad. Once their food arrived, they devoured it in a matter of seconds and thanked Ban and Elaine for the wonderful meal. But, before they left Elaine asked Tristan if he could tell Elizabeth that she said hi.

After the boys finished eating, they parted ways and went back to their homes. Tristan was a little sad that he wasn't hanging out with his friends anymore, and he couldn't think of anywhere to go but home. Since, he doesn't want to see Isolde at all. The only place he could think of going was the Boar Hat.

Tristan opened the door of the Boar Hat and was greeted by his father. Tristan took a seat on the bar stool and asked his father for water. Meliodas happily complied and gave Tristan some water. After a bit of silence, Meliodas finally said something. "Are you ok, Tristan?" After some thought, Tristan shook his head. "Why not?" Asked Meliodas. "Because...I'm being forced to marry someone that I don't like." "Well son..." Meliodas paused for a brief moment. "I'm sorry but, you have to marry her. If you don't marry her, dangerous spells from the demon realm will be released into dangerous arms." "What do you mean?" "I made a deal with Isolde's parents...if you marry her, we get forbidden spells from the demon realm and demon coins. And the if those spells get into the wrong hands, more chaos will happen." "I dont give a shit! Why don't you care about me?" Yelled Tristan, as tears started to form in his eyes. Tristans demon mark started to show. "Why don't you care about my happiness?" Tristan included. "Tristan, please calm down." "NO." Tristan then blew Meliodas out of the Boar Hat, which created a whole in the tavern. Meliodas's demon mark appeared on his face. "It's best option we got..." Meliodas said and sent a blast of purgatory fire to Tristan. Tristan attempted to block the attack, but failed. After a few more attacks from Meliodas, Tristan's demon mark faded away. Tristan fell to the ground and started to ball his eyes out and kept apologizing for attacking his dad. But, Meliodas didn't care, as he knows what it's like to have your power take control of you. Meliodas held a passed out Tristan tight in his arms, and carried him to the palace. Once they arrived at the palace, Meliodas brought Tristan to his room and asked Isolde to give him some space.

When morning arrived, Tristan had a big headache and had no idea why. As he turned to the left of him, he realized that Isolde wasn't in the room with him and his heart leapt with glee. He got out of bed and decided to take a shower. During his shower, the memories from last night came back and he felt very guiltily for treating his dad that way. Once Tristan was done his shower, he did his hair and got dressed. He chose to eat out this morning, as he didn't want to get questioned by his mother or Isolde. Tristan snuck out of his window and went to the Firelight Café. As soon as he entered the café, he was greeted by his aunt Elaine. Elaine showed him to a table and gave him a menu. As Tristan was looking over the menu, this tall blonde headed guy walked past him. He knew he looked very familiar, but he couldn't remember why. Then, the blonde guy stopped at his table and asked Tristan what he wanted to order. Tristan blushed furiously and asked for an egg breakfast sandwich. By the time the waiter came back to give Tristan his sandwhich, he finally realized why this guy looked so familiar. "Here's your sandwhich, enjoy." Said the boy with no expression. "Lancelot...is that you?"
