Dan's POV... kinda
The following day, after they'd fallen asleep in each other's arms, Dan woke up to the sound of Phil watching an anime, one they'd already seen- but still... it was their thing...
"Good morning, Daniel." Phil said. Dan replied, as he was in the kitchen now, "i wonder why my cereal box is lighter..." Phil, looking up, "IT'S A MISTERY...!" "Mabye the sock goblins invited their friends over and got hungry" He retorted, a dramatic faraway look in his eyes. Being dramatic, he looked to a corner of the ceiling, only to discover an arachnid.
"GAH!!! SPIDERRR!!!" Phil yelped, his voice still hoarse from not using it too much yet.
"KILL IT!!! BURN IT!!! GET IT OUT!!! NOW!!!" Phil, being over dramatic on purpose, basically yelled, his vioce cracking a bit.
"I am highly engaged in pouring milk right now, into whats left of my terrorised cereal," I replied, completley calm.
Phil, however, was still in his panic attack. "THEN STOP FOR A MILLISECOND AND KILL THIS FREAKING SPIDEY!!!"
"Really, Phil? This is what we've come to...? Spidey. Yeah, okay, I'll kill it" i grabbed a paper towel, walking up closer, and killed it. "MY HERO!!" Phil l, again, yelled, and ran to me, snuggling his head into my neck. Usually, this would trigger my only non-maltieser based physical activity, which is karate chopping whoever touches my neck away, but Phil is mymy only exeption.
Phil then looked up to Dan, hugging him tighter. Dan looked down onto him, and saw a flick of worry in his eyes.
"What's wrong, spidey?" Then he remembered what had happened again, right before Phil replied, "bear...,you'll always protect me... right?"
That made Dans heart drop a bit. "Phil, those guys are just jealous twats who don't have good lives and they cope by trying to ruin other's. They don't know us, where we live. Don't be afraid... I'll always protect you. And I'm sorry i couldn't be there.."
"Okay..." Phil quietly replied.
"Love you, spidey.."
"Love you bear."
"Wanna watch death note?"
"Sure"
They went to the couch and cuddled up while watching. But Dan couldn't help but notice that little fleck, still in Phil's eyes....
