"Line up for year 11 set 4 double maths!!"
Mrs. Thumbham said, herding all the grumbling teenagers in her class into line. Mrs. Thumbham was a 6'6 tall woman but with her iconic heels on, she was 6'10. She was Mr. Smith's sister. Mr. Smith's brother also worked in the school, his name was Geoffrey Smith, and he was the RE teacher. He was 7 foot tall and absolutely terrifying; it didn't help that he wore all black and had a gun licence and was mean. Maebh was shoved into line by a douche walking past, she snarled and cracked her knuckles, pissed off.
"Calm down dearie! I'll tell him off!" Mrs. Thumbham said. "ELLIOT, GET OVER HERE NOW!" Mrs. Thumbham screamed, the young boy at once froze up and shuffled over to the tall woman. "Apologise to Maebh now!" Mrs. Thumbham commanded the boy.
"Sorry Maebh..." Elliot whined. "Good lad, DETENTION AT LUNCH!" The maths professor yelled furiously.
During maths, Maebh turned to her left to see a boy who had been moved up from set 5. she threw a note to him, and he smiled at what she had written and nodded before getting back to his work.
The boy had dark skin and braids, black hair and brown eyes. He smiled to himself gently, it was clear he was glad he had a new friend.
During maths Maebh felt like she was about to shiver, meaning one thing, she was about to have a tic. She prepared herself and within a few seconds, she shouted "WOW!!", she began to blush from embarrassment and hid her face behind her fluffy hair.
After maths was break where the boy met up with her and her friends. "Hey, I'm Lucielle." The boy said. "Thats a girl's name" Maebh said, "I am a girl" Lucielle said, Maebh realised this girl was most likely trans. "How old are you?" Maebh asked. "17" the girl replied. "I'm 16!" Maebh smiled "I'm Maebh, that's Amy, that's Knotter, that's Lacey, and that's our bench." Maebh said, pointing at corresponding people and objects as she said them.
Lucielle nodded "I've seen y'all around, I'm the kid who came here from Henford on Bagley last year." Lucielle smiled, heading to the bench "Now I live in Oasis Springs, so I have to wake up at 6am to catch the bus since I live 2 cities away." She said calmly.
Knotter tilted his head "I recognise you, do you by any means go online by the name of; Luci_Landin07?" He grinned. Lucielle nodded "yup, I do camera shows, it's weird but it gets me a ton of cash! I get paid the big bucks for it, everyone fetishises females with dicks or, futas nowadays anyway, don't they?" She said calmly, looking Knotter straight in the eyes. "My ma isn't the most accepting of my gender but eh, I don't care. Hell, I've already started HRT after all." Lucielle smiled "oh and by the way, y'all can call me Luci." She spoke.
"God its cold, but anyways, what do you to for fun 'round here?" Luci asked gently, sitting at the bench. "Well, we just sit and talk, you know, like... usual stuff" Amy said. "Gosh, y'all never played kicky shins. You kick each other's shins hard as ya can and see who chickens out last." Luci asked curiously. Maebh smirked and sat down "Sounds fun, let's play it!"
With that everyone sat at the circle bench, first out was Amy, Then Lacey, then Knotter, then Maebh. Lucielle smiled as she appeared victorious. "I... How?" Amy said curiously. "Well, I had to learn to be endurant when my ma accidentally dropped a circular saw on my knee when I was 7." Lucielle responded. Amy's jaw dropped "You what now?!" She yelled. "Show me your scar beautiful girl..." Knotter flirted. Lucielle pulled up her left trouser leg and there it was, a 3-inch deep, 5-centimetre-wide silver scar. Maebh gasped in unison with Amy. "Fucking rad..." Lacey grinned, poking the scar with intrigue as Knotter inspected it.
"How painful was it?" Knotter asked "Very, but not as bad as watching my dad fall into the wood chipper, he was a good man, just clumsy." With those 21 words, everyone fell silent, and Lacey covered her mouth. "Thats horrible!" Knotter pouted, looking sympathetically up at Lucielle. She simply shrugged and pulled out a cinnamon croissant, which Maebh looked at hungrily.
Lucielle saw this and gave the short ginger girl the food which Maebh ate ravenously. "Are you fed at home Hun?" Luci asked, Maebh shook her head and Lucielle sighed sympathetically and looked in her bag "Well I have 2 spare sandwiches since I always bring 4, so you can have 2 at lunch, they're bacon, egg and cheese." She said, looking at Maebh. Maebh nodded enthusiastically before checking her timetable. "Hmm... I have GCSE art next." She said unenthusiastically before putting her timetable away once more. "NOSE, GHOST!" Maebh yelled loudly as a tic before having a motor tic, rapidly jolting her head forwards.
"Ugh, hate it when that happens." She said, gently chuckling. Amy smiled gently, eyes painted with concern. "You ok Maebh?" She asked, placing one, long, gentle, thin hand on Maebh's arm. Maebh nodded gently and smiled at her best friend.
Knotter watched and muttered something to Lacey who nodded in agreement to his statement.
As the school bell rung so did a horrifying howl, then the lockdown bell wailed, the doors locked and those who were out in the yard began to panic as they saw glowing eyes in the bush. "SHIT! RUN!!" Lucielle yelled, Maebh and her friends obliged and sprinted away from the bush, trying to break open the door. In a matter of seconds two swift claws grabbed Lacey "NO!" Knotter screamed, but it was too late, all that remained of her was a line of intestines on the floor and her heart. Knotter fell to the floor "NO! NO, YOU ASSHOLE!! BRING HER BACK!!!!" He screamed in anguish.
Later that day her body was found, mutilated and inside out. Her family would cremate her remains. Knotter for the next few days was so depressed he would refuse to speak. He felt sick with grief and nauseous, he only had one thing to ask.
Why just her? Why not both of us?
