It seemed two out of the four friends were actually wanting to go on the investigation. Those two were Aelia and Kyra, also known as the two who were suppossedly most scared of "ghosts." August and Isla were funnily making as many excuses as they could while a Sama nd Colby video played on the TV in the living room. August and Isla's excuses were very funny to Kyra and Aelia as the two were about to start crying because they were laughing so hard.
Kyra had sent a small screenshot of the DM's she had been sent by Sam and Colby, and now the four of them were trying to figure out if they should agree to it or not. They hadn't recieved much information about the investiagtion, only knowing they would be going somewhere in San Diego, which Kyra explained wouldn't be bad, and they could always come home if need-be.
"Listen, it could be a once in a lifetime experience," Kyra said, finally calming down form her laughter. Aelia was still wiping her tears with a small smile on her face. "It's just down in San Diego and it could be really fun, so I don't think it will be bad. We can always come home if it gets to scary, and they seem to be really nice guys, so I think they wil understand if we don't want to do it anymore."
August and Isla were still very unsure, Isla going as far to say how they could be murders and the thought of possession is always in the back of their heads. "Look you guys don't have to do it, but I'm a hundred percent down, Ky," Aelia said, looking to their friends before turning to Kyra, who sent her a small smile.
"I think it will be fun," Kyra said, a small smirk on her face.
"No, it won't be fun!" Isla exclaimed, her voice cracking which caused the group to laugh. "Stop!"
"How many people have come out of those investigations saying they were fun or somthing?" Aelia asked, and August sighed in response. She was close to giving in.
"But, still, are we just doing this for the fans or because we actually want to do it?" August asked, not expecting the answer she recieved only seconds later.
"Both," Aelia and Kyra said, shrugging their shoulders in sync.
After a few more hours of convincing, plus more Sam and Colby videos as a way for them to be even more convinced. It worked, but Isla left at 1 in the morning with the response, 'I need to sleep on it.' August eventually went to bed as well, saying she was 99% sure she wanted to do, but she still needed to think about it.
