Sam and Colby managed to convince the receptionist to call down a bellman, who had a bunch of stories about the hotel.
The bellman had introduced himself as Bobby, and the rest of the group crowded around him in interest and excitment, "First, you're gonna ask me if the hotel is haunted. Yes." The group looked shocked, and a few chuckled in shock. "I believe in purgatory. I believe in ghosts. I'm usually the all-night bellman. I've seen door open on their own. I've seen all kinds of strange things go on at night, so I'm pretty much convinced - plus a 135 year old building, there's got to be a few secrets," Bobby said, and the group nodded in agreement.
"For sure," Sam said, nodding his head in excitment and complete agreement.
"Secrets are like hidden ghosts within themselves. I don't know why they say the Kate Morgan room is haunted," Bobby said, and Kyra and Amanda shared a slightly confused look. "They'll say, like, my pillows are rearranged or I found a blood stain on the screen. There's just... I those are things people are just making up to get some attention. The real haunted rooms are up on the fifth floor."
Kyra's eyes widened as she remembered the time her and her friends had come for Christmas on the beach, and they stayed on the fifth floor.
"Back in the 1800s, when you worked here, you lived, slept, and ate here. What the fifth floor is, is kind of a modified attic that's where they had the employees stay. They've had maids hang themselves. Mobsters kill themselves up there."
The group stared at him in shock.
"And for some reason too when people sometimes do come here, sadly to commit suicide, they're always lured or attracted to the fifth floor. So if you're really looking for a haunted place that's up there. There's this one hallways that has these striped walls. When you walk through it you just get this eerie feeling. I don't go unless I have to!"
