Well, this message should have been published a few days ago, but I decided to think about things a little better and look for alternatives to continue my work.
Recently with the new announcements that Wattpad has sent us, we were made aware of the change in some regulations regarding the content of our stories, more specifically on the issue of violence or sexual content that is implemented. Although there is a reason for the +18 cataloging that can be placed as a warning, it turns out that now according to the new policies this will be eliminated in favor of reducing content that is inappropriate or considered unethical.
I think that as someone "new" I shouldn't worry or complain about something like that that probably affects the "great writers." But the reality is that I do have a lot to lose here, not only my stories but my account and all the other projects in development that I have saved on Wattpad. My flagship stories so far are "I am not The Scarlet King" and "Summoned by mistake" and yet with the restrictions that are coming it will make it impossible for me to publish new chapters that obviously have some violent content and that could cause problems, including me. I was forced to cancel or postpone indefinitely the story "I am Agent Nimitz" which already has advanced progress until the 5th season of Red vs Blue but due to having somewhat adult language or sexual themes in the middle it has made me doubt if It is advisable to publish it.
I like what I do and it would be a shame to lose everything suddenly, I have seriously thought about my best alternatives such as Deviantart, Fanfiction.net or Inkspired as optional sites to move to. Although I do not have a large number of followers, I greatly appreciate everyone who has supported me and helped me continue with what I like. This message is not a goodbye but a see you soon. For now I will do some tests and try to get all my drafts out of Wattpad to have a backup in case I can no longer continue.
